Here in Trinidad we call the rice biryani but add meat to it ( chicken,lamb or beef)same layering process n caramelized onions but no raisens. May this Ramadan be the best one for all of us insha Allah Aameen. Ramadan Kareem

Hey abaayo just some advice. For the dining table put the bench in the back (against the wall) and the chairs on the front. I think you’ll find that it’s more aesthetically pleasing iA 😘

Enjoyed the vlog. interesting how you add the mixed seasonings to the meat while in the pot. I usually add the seasonings one by one to the ground meat in the pan. I'm going to try it your way next time.
We have relatives coming into our house through out the Ramadhan for ifthar. I don't complain i am tired and its been a long day. This is something common for Muslims who come from big families to host relatives and friends whenever and not necessarily during Ramadhan only. You being a Somali should know better. Be happy to host and stop saying ut was a long day otherwise people won't come to your house knowing that you toil for them.
