If you're looking for a place to hide in Somalia, look no further than Darusalam. This small town is home to some of the richest Diasporas coming from US and Europe.
I visited Darusalam yesterday and was shocked at the amount of expensive homes and beautiful Somalis live in. It's clear that this is where the rich hides in Mogadishu - and it's worth a visit if you come here.

Impressive. I hope Somalis embrace green spaces in the urban areas and actually plant trees along streets and in the residential compounds. This will help with micro climate benefits as well as possibly start a revolution to green the entire country and help stop the spread of the desert climate. Its urgent and everyone needs to do their little part.

Somali is the land of beautiful people and places. Living in neighboring Ethiopia, I had many classmates and years later my students in one of the boarding schools in Ethiopia. Nice buildings and they surely are affordable too especially diaspora who seek some retreat from Western hustle. Thanks for sharing. Your clips bring back memories.

The second room downstairs is a dining room, not a living room. That's why it has access to the kitchen a balcony, a toilet, and a sink. It's also isolated so that the food smell doesn't invade the living area
