I like how Vegas is making downtown more welcoming. They have more bars, hang out places. More people are heading downtown.
Just stay away from the courthouse or most of everything away from container park. Unless you enjoy bum piss and shit
Mob Museum has an underground bar. Look for the green door with a barrel near it. Give them the password and you’ll be let in.
I wonder if they have changed it recently - I was there 6 weeks ago and walked right into the bar.
The password is "I want to buy a drink".
That chunk of the Berlin wall has been there for a couple decades. The first time I was in there using the bathroom, four or five women walked in unescorted. I figured that they have probably seen it before so I just ignored them. They had the nerve to get all offended that I was using the bathroom for it's intended purpose, and actually complained to the management; (🙄) who also just basically ignored them. Duh. The world's first Karens...
I often wonder if that day - and possibly other similar experiences - was the start of the policy of escorting women into the space to see the wall.
The women should have been ticketed. If men walk into a Ladies Room, all hell would break loose.
I'm a loyal Southwest person and I used the bonus play at El Cortez in January 2020. I thought it was quite useful. I have been to Vegas three years in a row and I have a bad habit of coming back with my credit cards maxed out!
I’ve been to Vegas for vacation over 10 times and never knew any of this.
Looks like I’m visiting the D the next time I fly in on Southwest.

Love the Strip for all of its glitz, but downtown has such a cool vibe!

Really interesting, i dont fly into Vegas but those are some nice deals for those who do. I have been to container park a few times and did not know about their drink rules, i guess since i wasn't bringing a drink in or out, but this is a strange one. Great new info.

I was in Vegas last week. I wish I'd seen this video first but I guess you hadn't recorded it yet. The Berlin Wall struck me as interesting. I was in Berlin a year after the wall came down. I actually have a couple of nuggets size pieces of the wall that I personally took. When I went back a couple of years later the locals were joking more pieces of the wall had been sold than actually existed in the wall. People were painting concrete slabs like in their garage or sidewalk and then breaking it apart with a sledgehammer. And then selling it as Berlin wall. So my question is very simple, how do you know this is the actual Berlin Wall?
