    When you only watch finals all the time and you find it boring and looks easy because of the super fluid footwork and high quality attack and defense and also the slow strategic pacing. Then you watch a one-sided match and then you realize how polished are the finalists.

    LCW is just letting this young player know that he needs to work really hard to reach where Lee is today. In no way one should feel that LCW is bullying. We all feel we are so good a player unless someone whacks us .it is a wake up call and a benchmark to let a player know how much effort he will need to add to compete world class opponents. It needs courage to face a legend and all praise for this young talent to put up a good show. He knew today he walked away happy with some good lessons for future no coach would be able to teach..

Lee could have ended this match in 15 minutes, destroying Kantawat so badly that he'd be emotionally scarred for the rest of his life, but instead Lee allowed Kantawat to have his moments. That's what makes LCW not only a legend of the game, but also an endearing one. Never have I seen him show an unprofessional attitude on court. If Lin Dan brought popularity to badminton, LCW brought grace and beauty to the game. You never get tired of watching his fluidity and tricks.

    He must be one of talented player in the whole country - however the difference between him and LCW is vast.

    kantawat seems like a decent player but he just can't seem to keep up against LCW. What exactly does he lack? footwork? game anticipation?

    • @taeyeonjjang5120
      @taeyeonjjang5120 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      he was probably nervous because his footwork was kinda rough and its sorta impossible to have that kind of skill and have a rough footwork.

      Wei Jie he doesn't lack anything. LCW is simply out of his league. Kantawat looks like a decent player at national level. LCW, on the other hand, is #1 international champion. There's a saying I really like: you are only as good as your team. And I don't think they're many teams in the world have players at LCW caliber to train with.
      Also I think because you are used to watching LCW plays with other super players at his level, so this doesn't look familiar. But this is how it really looks like if LCW plays with any players out of top 30 BWF ranking.

      Jjang daebak you are wrong. when a player play faster and neater than you you will end up chasing ball make your movement unstable.
