Dude, I was so full of dread that you were going to end up bored, being that it's actually a 3 song suite lol. Proxy, the opener really sets the ethereal stage the album takes you on, Retrospect, is a greet song i love singing, especially that faster bit towards the end, and then Resist is just this giant orgy of a climatic build. I suggest listening to the album versions, and then letting Nocturne, a song you've already done follow, because I think it'll really put into light just how fucking groovy that song feels once you've been floating in space lol. I personally feel like reacting to all of Concealing Fate is a bit much, it's a 5 part suite from their first album, but definitely worth listening in your own time going into doing a reaction for the War of Being title track from the newest album. That puppy is 11 minutes long and I think at this point is becoming unavoidable. That's just this guy's opinions though =)
As a metalhead i find wholesome when you do get the vibes of the whole song and there you are almost closing your eyes. Great reaction. plz you have to listen to Concealing fate part 1 at sonisphere fest 🙏
This album is sort of arranged/divided into larger kind of "movements" comprising of several tracks, "Of Matter" being the album introduction comprising of 3 "regular-ish" length tracks cleverly stitched together with the sustained ambient breaks. The other track you did "Nocturne" is actually the first part of the second "Movement" titled "Of Mind". My slight gripe is that the music video edit of that track cuts out a very nice instrumental outro which takes you nicely into the rest of the "Of Mind" movement, which is made up of 1 other track titled "Exiled"...& that is a 9 minute journey well worth taking I'd say or you're looking at around 15 minutes total for the full "Of Mind" experience with a studio version of Nocturne in there beforehand. 🤘👍 Just to point out too that my recommendation of Monuments in my Spiritbox comment contains some vibes/ties with these guys & Periphery. They're all good buddies & have jammed/been in bands together etc. I feel like I must also apologise for commenting a short novel & let you know I tried to trim it down a bit here. 😅👍 Some of the stand-alone, bit more concise tracks by Tesseract I could throw recommendations for would be: Survival or Cages, both from the same album as Hexes. 👌
I think you'll like the other studio playthrough of the concealing fate series. That or King or Legion, for some variety / something you might not have heard before. On a side note I think you would enjoy the contortionist. Start with language 1 and 2. Melodic prog metal. Good song writing. Peace!
If there's any Tesseract to react to before you leave it, it should be Concealing Fate. It was a 6 part EP that made its way to their first album and to me it's still one of their best works. They've gone a little more 'accessible' and melodic prog metal in the recent albums, but weirdly I find their newer stuff a bit lacking. Altered State (this video is 1/4 of it) was fantastic, but Concealing Fate is THE project in my eyes still.
Every few months I come back to that video, it is truly a work of art
Deception, Concealing Fate part 2
now you have to do concealing fate all 6 parts!! heavy tesseract!!
Yes
@@hailstone_ nice to see you!!
It's really sad that there's not many ppl reacting to this🤣😢 its amazing
This is a legendary performance with Ashe on vocals. IMO slightly better than the album version, if nothing else just for the "more climactic" ending.
Beast of a track and absolute powerhouse vocals..its like a train of melodies crashing into your face. *chefs kiss*
No need for a hair fight , the drummer has shaved his head
