As someone that has cancer and is fighting cancer and will be fighting it until the day I die. Movies and TV don't get any of it right. They don't get diagnosis right, they don't get treatments right they don't get how people handle it or don't handle it right. They certainly don't get the friends and family all just vanishing right.
I am sorry for your Illness. My Mom died of Cancer of the Colon back in 1984 when I was a YOIung Man. IHer ordeal of her battler her Cancer was very painful and agonizing to her and my Family. When you say Friends and Family Vanishing all Vanishing- Do you mean that people are abandoning you when you are going through your difficult times or do you mean something else?
I dont know you but I am sending you strength and a light at the end of the tunnel. Or lot of light moments between treatment.. I hope that you at least are able to find peers? Because, that can help a lot (as long as it is not a competition of who has it worst, did see that in some groups) .in the movies, there are always people gathering around them, taking care of them, bo matter what. No matter what the sick person does. Because, otherwise - it would not fit the narrative, right? I dont have cancer, but I think I know what you mean. I have a disability, which requires lots of (risky)surgeries, recovery, learning to walk again, medication....its a lot, and it never ends. I am lucky its not life shortening or threatening, besides some surgeries, but there were times when was not able to see the light in that. Movies dont get it, how you fight alone, and sometimes even IF there are people around. Your environment doesnt get it. They dont get how it feels to live with uncertainty, and pain, which cannot be managed every single day. They dont get how much time you loose with just managaging appointments, making decisions, dealing with the wrong medication , finding another. But then, it would not be a fun little romance movie, right???

I’d say she already deserves more than one. She shines in every role I’ve seen her, she’s a superb actress. ETA And Andrew Garfield is a fantastic actor too.

I’m tired not to be able to watch a movie without cancer story in it a movie is supposed to transport you out of your world not make you remember your pain and loss I know it’s good to talk about it and everything but to many movies lately are about cancer I’m over it I’m living it gosh it’s tiring
So this is like.. from scratch, and one day? No thank you, I watched both of those by mistake not expecting the endings but was already too invested to stop 😭
My mom and sister were watching me as I was watching this trailer and apparently I very expressively cycled through every human emotion at least twice. Definitely watching this! ❤
2:01- I am guilty of looking ahead as well and my GF would agree as she is the one trying to help me live in the moment. I believe my past traumas of losing loved ones suddenly has something to do with the worry about the future.
Love her in anything that she does but I don't buy him in this role for not one second. They are not a match. Are there not any other good actors up to her level to choose from? She is at the top of her game and flawless and you pair her with the ex- spiderman and I'm supposed to believe it?
Now that I am done with Chemo and finishing up with other Treatments, I look forward to getting my hair back again. It is hard to identify with myself in the mirror without Long Hair. I see my Dad, when I used to see my Mom, which is sort of haunting! My parents have long since passed, and Family is no where in sight! Just me in the mirror to fight off the Demons! :)

My mom died from cancer four years ago and my dad died from cancer related complications last July… and now I’m crying.
