@@chrisshelp1172 That's a very silly and ignorant not to mention disrespectful comment. The legend of the creation of the arabian horse is off course based in God as the creator of the arabian horse and is a very beautiful story. So as the story is arabic, off course they are naming God by the Islamic name of Allah, but is the same God as we know with other names as Jehova, Yahve etc. Don't emabarrass yourself and Christians. Allah, God Yahve, Jehova is the same and Muslims akchnowledge and respect these names as well as they respect Jesus. Why don't you learn some respect if you feel your faith is fair? If you don't know, Christians and Muslims share more things about God worship than Christians or Muslims with Jews. MASHA'ALLAH / All mighty God. God bless you buddy.

Wow! What beautiful and magnificent horses. I fell in love with the Arabian breed as a young child, and have been drawing and painting them ever since. In my teens I rode a full bred Arabian and a half Arabian/Morgan breed. The half Arabian/Morgan was the best horse I ever rode in my lifetime, his name was Tony and he had the look of an Arabian. I wished I could have had him for my own. He was a rental riding horse but was being mistreated and abused by other riders, who never understood horses to begin with and treated any of them as if they were machines, running them into the ground, etc., plus they always were coming back exhausted, and also with leg and/or hoof problems, and none were never cooled down properly.
When I started riding Tony, I noticed how well trained and intelligent he was, and that he had a rocking chair lope which made riding him special. This eventually was broken because of all the uncaring and thoughtless people on his back, and his spirit was also being broken along with it. I always loved riding him and took proper care of him and never ever brought him back in such a state of exhaustion or hoof and leg problems or anything else for that matter. Anytime I showed up to ride, he would always come to me to ride him. He also would do anything I asked of him and he helped me to become a better rider. We had that connection which only a horse and rider gets with love, trust and kindness. But afterwards I noticed a change in his behavior. It broke my heart. When I found out he died in the mountains one winter, I cried because I knew he became so saddened and depressed, with the abusive life he was in, like in the story of Anna Sewell’s Black Beauty, that he didn’t want to live anymore and wouldn’t go back down to the barn to stay warm, but instead ran off when the other horses were being rounded up. I actually would have been with that horse in the barn if he had been mine, brushing and feeding him. NO animal should ever be treated with the cruelty and neglect such as Tony went through. Tony was 7 years old and only needed to be loved and appreciated. I will never forget him. 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

Arabians have the absolute most beautiful head of any horse. Well, and the rest of their body is beautiful as well. Love how they hold their tail so high. Very graceful. My favorite book series is The Black Stallion. I’m 63 & I still love it!

What a beautiful tribute to perhaps the most majestic horse on Earth! My first horse was a half Arab gelding, white with pepper spots. He was the peppiest, happiest, friendliest, flashiest horse I ever met. Under the saddle he was the horse who pranced with his head and tail held high. He would let me hang on him, stand on him and he'd follow me around without a lead...just like a dog. When he saw me approach the vast pasture he'd come to me without hesitation. The story of this beautiful creature still brings me tears of joy. I called him "Whiskey". He was my first love, obsession and responsibility. He "whisked" me away in every sense of the word. His Arab spirit was warm and loving and he forever lives on in my heart.

Awesome story….I agree. I had a similar experience with a half Arab/Morgan cross, also became my best friend and helped me become a better rider. Even though he belonged to someone else, I rode him many times. He was a rental riding club horse, but he would always come up to me when he saw me. I will always miss him.

A beautiful “love letter” filmed for a beautiful horse with a poetic history! The Arabian has stories to tell that we will never hear. He holds secrets in his heart that no human ear could (or should) ever come upon. He is made of magic and belongs to the sand and the wind. Every drop of his blood belongs to another world, another time with a different reality. You never really own an Arabian. Their heart is the desert 🐪. It has always been......, and will always be so.

If an Arabian trusts you, he will do anything for you. While I enjoyed the movements of the horses, I wish the film had shown more of this breed's gentleness and the love they are capable of displaying toward their owners. That is their true beauty.

I so agree with you Rebecca. I had an Arabian mare that had been horribly abused, but given time she learned I was trustworthy. During our early years together when she was still quite spooky I had a friend who would come with her 3 yr old daughter. One day they had my Liberty out grooming her and little Abby walked right under her and Liberty never moved. She knew that little girls wasn't going to hurt her. I have many more stories like that, but once an Arabian trusts you, they are loyal to you forever.

Wow, you know nothing about me or my relationship with my horse, yet you make your judgemental comments. So let me educate you. My beautiful Arabian mare had been rescued by the local Humane Society from some bad/neglectful owners who had starved and abused her, along with her mother, brother and other horses and animals when she was just a yearling. Over the next few years she had been adopted and taken back numerous times because she was very afraid and full of the Arabian spirit and no one knew how to handle her. I adopted her when she was 5 years old. I had planned on adopting a nice quiet Quarter horse, but Liberty (her name) was brought into my life. You couldn't make any movement above or behind her or she would spook, spin and take off running. I worked with her with trainers who used the gentling methods. I spent hours, day after day, just loving on her, rubbing/massaging her, talking to her, telling her how beautiful, quiet, peaceful, bold, courageous, and trusting she was. I stuck with this mare when people over and over told me to get rid of her. They told me she would always be this way. But I loved her and told her I would love and take care of her as long as God allowed me, even if I never got to ride her. I knew in my heart, she could learn to trust me. Over the years, she dumped me many times. She never bucked me off, but when something scared her she would spin and run. Thankfully I never broke any bones, but the chiropractor sure earned his pay from me. It took a long time, because I knew I was earning her trust after so many before me had abused her. Eventually I rode that beautiful mare all over the mountains where I lived. My mare would follow me anywhere, WITHOUT A HALTER OR BRIDAL ON. I could leave her out in a pasture to eat grass and she would walk herself back to her stall. My granddaughter rode her and my 12lb dog could ride her, with me or by himself. My beautiful Liberty was NEVER in a show for money and though I spent a lot of money on her over the 24 years she was in my life, I never earned a dime off of her. However, I gained so much more in knowing how much she loved and trusted me. So next time maybe you should know the truth before you speak and you shouldn't assume every "western" Arabian horse owner has them in shows for money.

My Stepmother can read and write Arabic and all I ever learned was German and a little Russian. Languages with different alphabets are so difficult, but Cyrillic alphabet was a little bit easier, maybe because I lived in Russia for a short time.
So, I don’t even know what she said in the first part of her comment. It was wrong for me to take offense, I just really love them and have known plenty of them that are extremely happy where they live. I have much gratitude to the people of the Arabian countries who since ancient times have bred this incredible gift from our Creator that has improved every breed of horse it has met. They are truly the most majestic animal I have seen and the inspiration I feel in their presence can only be divine!

      Thank you for your question.
First of all, the horses are Nobel animals if we speak about them, and as extra the Arabic horse is so so so sensitive. It depends on the one ride it.
You need to stand up a tile bit when riding him because Arabic horses are known by their high speed for that if you just look at his way of running you will see that he is trying to be like a arrow.
I have seen huge number of videos giving information about horses but most of them are wrong. When it comes to arabic the real rider does not need to use hands or legs kicks to ride his horse. The Arabic horse is not like others that just someone strange comes and ride it, no. You need to build a trust with the Arabic horse because they are so sensitive and they are so smart I am talking about those are not mixed. As I said:
1/ build a good relationship with the Arabic horse and let him trust you and get to know. And relax when you are close to him and don’t touch too much his mouth. Clean him, make him a nice douch, hold him by the harness and have a nice walk with him,...etc
2/ use a good confortable harness
3/ place the harness and don’t ride him, just hold the harness and walk with him and touch his side chest a couple of times.
4/ don’t ride him fast in the first beginning it would be more than nice if you get up of him but by slow riding and you need to have contrôle on the harness and make him understand what you want to do, when holding the harness make a special sound on each movement you want him to do. that later on once you say that sound you don’t need to move the harness with your hands, the horse will understand it directly because he doesn’t like to be hitted by hands or legs, just use sounds with him and you will see.
When speeding up, please be a good rider. The way how you stand, the way how you hold the harness, the way how you move your body on turns.
As I said, the Arabic horse has his own charisma and he loves to be treated well. He is Nobel. You need to have a nice relationship with him before to ride him.
I have a horse that raised him since he was born, believe me he his jalouse when I touch other horses, he comes between me and them and even he try to hit them to move away hahahah
Sorry for writing too much but I love talking about horses :)
