How blessed we are that God gifted him that we might enjoy his ever loving ever lasting melodic voice. I can't name all of the hit songs that he has written throughout his lifetime!! Willie is a country music icon. (A legend in his own lifetime!!!) Ps. I don't call myself a true fan of country music, however, I am a fan of Willie Nelson. I think he is 90 or 91 now❤

I saw where he donated Trigger to Smithsonian after he passes. They said it is most valuable guitar in the world. Looks like a $59 guitar in the hands of the master. Never will there be another Willie Nelson. Anyone who knows Willie can always hear Trigger in the back ground

The love of my life is dead but this song is for me over him. He was a hopeless alcoholic but we had a connection unmatched. (he also resembled Merle and played guitar and Merle was his fav performer). Death is so final and leaves devastated loved ones. 😢

Yes those harmonies touch the soul. Watching Sheryl and Willie look at each other often enjoying their performing shows how great they are together, almost as if one. Willie is master show man and gentleman and always allows his duet partner to shine through equally. See Willie perform Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain with Shania Twain another brilliant performance. Anyone who would dislike this masterpiece performance of a country song isn't human.

Anyone who would hate Willie or Sheryl are not human beings. Both are icons of country singing's finest peformers ever. I would tie up many of today's youth and make them learn and listen to performances like this and tell them this is real music kids not the cookie cutter garbage you are listening to full of expletives, derogatory to women, making sex, booze and drugs acceptable norms.
