- So @DiscardPixel decided to host a HOI4 1.0 Multiplayer game with NO DLCs!
Yes that means we are playing Hearts of Iron 4 as it was on release in 2016.
No DLC, no updates, nothing besides raw HOI4 esports skills.
And what's a better than for Tommy to play his world renowned Japan when he was one of the best players in Hearts of Iron 4.
And I'll do you one better, Tommy is up against @DankusMemecus who is playing India aka the British Raj.
Yes it's the return of TommyKay Japan, but in HOI4 1.0 Vanilla!

the old days were so much simpler - no fuel to think about, no spies, no massive supply problems for every tile you take, no super complicated focus trees, no complicated tank/plane/ship designs which meant you almost always had competent majors which actually made games last longer despite the performance issues
can always do no DLC but current patch games :)
I would never go back but it was fun
@@commissarkordoshky219The patches still adds some things. I decided after 100 hours to just go to 1.2 (1.0 and 1.1 gets bugged on my PC) to learn the very basics. Finally, I don't fully suck 😂

I also dont understand why himmler gives bonis that would only affect the game when having the spy DLC.
Plus the tutorial mission of hoi4 is garbage and doesnt teach anything.

Dankus is a meme and is not thay good of a player at all. I think any experienced hoi4 player could beat him easily.

Completely untrue. Yes Dankus is a big one for the memes (hence his channel name) however he is a extremely good and skilled player especially if he starts to actually try. For example in more serious games or tournaments where he really fokuses and memes less
