Good video. What is your BEC output set to? Probably 6v but have you tried running the receiver and servo at the 7.4 volt output setting? Just wondering.

Are you running the Max6 on the 1200xl or 1600xl? When my ECU retires hurt, I will get a Max6, but wonder if I should combine it with the 1600xl.... thoughts?
I was just running it on the stock one which i think is 1200xl.. i think if you want more top speed then 1600xl.. but you may lose more tourque maybe
My son and I are only on our third time out but I have a hobbie wing max 6 and motor combo for when I wanna upgrade. Did you change motor? I believe mine is a 1100kv
I ran with stock motor on max6 for a while, until i changed the motor with 8mm shaft for bigger gears
Can you run the stock X-Maxx battery connectors with the MAX6 so I don’t need to change my charger.
Yes you just have to solder on the traxxas connector to the max 6 or use a converter
Esc just went out on my x maxx . I'm going to go with hobbywing . Wasn't sure what I need . Is max 6 good or go with max 8 ?

What is it the Max6 better than the stock ESC?
Much better control, better programming options
If I have two batteries rated for 50c each, would that be enough to push the max6?
It will work but i wouldnt push it hard! Keep an eye on temps

Does it have more punch for doing flips as i find the stock esc is crap for flipping xmaxx in the air
Yeah dude.. wayyy more punch than stock as you can adjust it.. but beware tho, if you check out my other vid i busted the gears on the highest punch setting..

You get the program card for it or you can do the beep sequence thats in the instructions

@@Sheldinator probably just adjust driving style maybe, u could probably still get the thrill of the punch 5 just have to mind the gears, like no sudden accelerate and breaking, landing on acceleration etc..
I did everything I was supposed to do while installing my ESC max6 it worked for two minutes now it is dead no steering no throttle no break no reverse fan is working no lights working though and my receiver box is blinking red I don't know what to do/ prior to the first run I programmed it with the program box everything went well now when I plug in the program box it doesn't even go to the Numbers it only has the parallel lines on it and won't do anything either
If you did everything you are supposed to and you did it right, you should try and get warranty man

@@KingsRC it will turn the right way, just when I go to set the neutral and full throttle and brake it won’t peep like it reading my commands
Maybe your not letting go of the button the right time? Its happened to me and end up going to programming mode instead..
No one ever tells you where to plug in the ESC into the receiver😢
Omg your so right! Always remember dude most reciever is always channel '2' for throttle! And throttle is the esc. 😄dont forget bro. Thanks for watching and stay tuned 🙂😉
