@GibraltarDIY what is the cost difference in purchasing just the base of the stealth-tyle rack that Brent used in this video as opposed to buying the actual stealth racks? I personally prefer the curved bars but am not sure they would be cost effective.
I have a kit that I love, but I want to convert the Tom's to suspension mount. but what do I do about the big holes that would be left by the current mounting brackets for the ratchet style arms.
Well, as a drummer I constantly have to play gigs sharing a drumset with a drummer who sets up their drums like that. Takes a lot of unnecessary time to change everything, especially when you have only 15 minutes in between sets. It is unnecessarily hard to play, looks ugly and causes damage to your heads and cymbals. So yes, I'd prefer drummers not to set up their drums like that.
Finally!!! Two side racks!!!! THAT is what I've had in my head ever since I discovered you guys!!!
This is really cool, not what I expected, but it's better than what I expected. Thanks, Brent!
What a wild drum set up. I could not play toms like that, but kudos to those who can!
I wonder how long you sat at the throne thinking how to make this set-up work. Great job again!
You should do some play demos in these videos to really show how well Gibraltar works!
This guy definitely saw Nicko McBain's kit and thought "I can do that!".... even though he only has 3 rack toms....
I've changed my setup since but that's totally what I'm going for now
they're some serious tom angles!
Back in the day they had some ridiculous angles :P
Yeah, I'm a fan of angled toms.
I'm thinking about sending in a picture of my kit. Maybe I'll do it sometime this week :)
Harry needs to do something about that kit, god damn it's set up hideously.
Anthony Salgado it works for me, and that's really all I care about.

Those tom angles give me anxiety. Omg
I would buy the crap out of counter weights to put on the end of you boom stand if you guys made them
I gotta send in videos and pics... i wanna see what he can do with my kit
Jesus christ those toms are vertical 😂😂
lars kit
I hate this drum set so so much
Agreed. It's such an ugly way to set your drums up.
Kai Ivo hey man, it's not your kit, is it? :)
