Very nice work Mitch some guy is taking people's bins back because some people just leave there bin out when it's collected and they don't even care it I did that once.
There's a clamp which lowers onto the lip of the bin as the arm is raised, that holds the bin onto the teeth while it's upturned. You can see the clamp lift off the bin around 1:50 in the video.
Expect to see a few more of these, that's if my plans don't go wrong. Very fascinating concept to me, just a shame they're starting to change a lot to grabbers now :( Yes the runner works for JJ Richards.
@erikals2 Eventually I'll get up to QLD and in Logan, just wish I could now for the split trucks before they go. Plenty of idiots around making it hard for the garbos, they're far from extinct in my council... cul-de-sacs are always a classic too.
No I don't think this one takes care of culd-de-sacs, just standard streets. Didn't notice a fleet # on this one now that you mention it, perhaps it's on the left side of the cab where you can't see it here? I'd say it's somewhere around 02-04... mid-age. haha Yer when it all gets stuck in the bin. I imagine it'd be slow when you shake them, because I believe the Richards' arms don't respond to the joystick as fast as general brands. Maybe they don't get along with the engineers :D

Cheers. In some councils with the units, the contractor has to pull the bins in and out, like here...
Thanks. With some councils the contractor has to pull the unit bins in/out...
Verry nice! How many guys are walking with the bins?
Just the one guy and the driver

There wasn't much in the bins, so the packer didn't struggle.
Nice Mitch! Mega Series tomarrow!
Why do they have someone walking with the truck? Also, what's the small bin with the red lid?

When it says City Council, does that mean it's owned by that city?
Sydney Metro area, Western Suburbs
The guy pulls the bins in and out of the units, red lidded bin is for garbage.
