Watch Alistair Parnell. He addresses many of the questions that you raised. Posting a negative review about a product that you have not even played is ill advised.
Thank you for response. Yeah, I've watched the Alistair Parnell videos they are quite good.
I guess my initial reaction was to the marketing and how little effort was put into the actual tone generation.
I also know that I need to try it out myself. Hopefully, we can get that done soon.

@@MusicalKinetics You might consider pulling this negative video down from your channel until you get a better feel for the instrument. Marketing videos are just that. They do not delve into the details of how something works. They are just there to introduce the product in a positive light. We rely on our own experience, or that of others to make an informed decision. If it is your intention to build a TH-cam channel with a strong following, this type of negative video that has the appearance of not been properly researched may be harmful to you. Best of luck.

you mean the guy that had sold his soul to roland? How come his channel is only about aerophone since ae-10 came out? If he's neutral, he would've been covering other non-roland ewi product.
I had an AE-30 Pro, the octave keys got jammed up (don´t they always) ? Sent it back and got an AE-20 which is really great, the keys are quieter, are softer to touch and I really like it, fun to play awesome sounds. I just pray the the octave keys don´t stick. It has a few bells and whistles less, BUT, the price is 30% cheaper, it meets all my needs !!
This Video is a waste of MB space, this guy does not know what he is talking about at all.

After what you have seen, what you have seen was a batch of people reviewing for Roland. Not real buyers. At the time of your video AE20 was not even stocked in the shops.... You haven't tried the instrument and you have overall opinion. "You are not impressed" about something you haven't even touched !
Hey. Thank you for you comment. You are right, I have not tested it. I have tested the Ae10 out and was making my speculations from the marketing of both.
I don't see anything written about major improvements to the tone and mouthpiece. So that is where I am coming from.
