I also met Chip, first attempt by driving 1 mile from my home in Huntington Beach. I don’t like to pester guys as influential as Chip, but I was 2 minutes from his shop, and the crew there were amazing! Showed me around and when Chip showed up, he could not have been a nicer guy! I mean that sincerely. He took the time to thank “me!” For stopping by, took a photo with me and was as likable as anyone could be. What a rock star. I might hit him up when I find my 69 Camaro… Love your channel, Chad, you definitely have a gift. Your content is all pro, perfectly edited and enjoyable to watch. Best of luck with your amazing shop build, so jealous… but land like that is hard to come by in Huntington Beach, CA. Aloha, my friend.
Chip Foose? I wouldn’t even be able to form a sentence without being star struck in his presence. What an amazing story you will have to share with your boys. Wow! Just wow!
I was able to meet Jason Witten from the Dallas Cowboys and I’m a big Cowboys fan and I barely held it together.lol . I couldn’t imagine meeting chip foose
You would have had no problem forming a sentence with Chip. I met him at his shop, 2 miles from my home. He treated me and my girlfriend like family, took a picture, showed me around and he made me feel like family. Can’t say enough about his character and how he treated me. A true legend in the automotive community! And a great and humble guy.
The environment at SEMA is chaotic, finding interesting vehicles, personalities and topics and theeeen producing a video that conveys those points is a true accomplishment. Great job!
Been LOOKING FORWARD to this EPISODE... you KILLED IT! Tuka is # 1 Tuka lot of money Tuka lot of time Tuka lot of patience Absolutely beautiful. Love everything about it.
Hey, thanks for the shout-out!! Yeah, I was pinned to the RealTruck Booth the whole time, so I didn't get to see much of the show. But I kept seeing pics of that RealTruck Raptor, and I couldn't stop trying to look at the blue Chevy behind it, that you show around the 7:13 mark. I love those trucks! I have a cousin in Jax who has a resto grey 55 Chevy big window, and it's beautiful! I need to get up there and make a video with it. I'll have to remember to tag you when I do!
SEMA is always amazing!! I had the opportunity to meet Chip along time ago, just before he started the TV builds, a very down to earth guy who spends every waking minute working on builds of all kinds! Take care and time to get back to finishing up your shop!
Wow!! You did a fantastic job at Sema. Talked to a lot of the right people. The Chevelle is an amazing piece of artwork. Thanks for taking us along. Your dad’s three picks would be my picks also. Thanks for sharing and have a great day!!
That's cool! I know Jason of Stafford's Garage. He was in the National Guard deployed with me in 2012. I knew he dabbled around and built his own trucks and constantly sold and bought different ones. Cool to see his work being featured on your channel at SEMA
Congratulations on meeting your idol! People always ask if you could spend a day with any “celebrity “ who would it be…I have said Chip Foose for years…yes he is a legendary car guy but he uses the cars as a tool to create and deepen relationships and is the most down to earth guy that isn’t at all about the fame. My favorite “episode” is when his old Ford pickup that his Dad actually surprised chip with and was revealed at a SEMA show…a real tear jerker.
Thanks for the brief overview. I have worked this event, along with AWDA and AAPEX, for several years but rarely get a chance to admire all of the cars. Next year I am going to set aside time to walk the main hall all day.
King of the World, Scott Anthony McCoy grandson of Austin McCoy owner of SEMA, keep up the good work ,I need to get to the next SEMA show !!!👑🌎🤙☯️🤙🎸😎🍻👣🍍
Keep your head up man, I have no doubt you will make it to 500k subscribers by the end of next year if you keep on going at this rate!! My idol still is Brian O' Connor and Camaros especially the z28 is one of my favorites with the 2010 generation. My next truck will have to be the LML 3500 Crew cab standard bed. One of the cleanest trucks but I like the look of the Chevy better with the bold front end design of it instead of the GMC design.
If I would have known you weee in town, I would have got you and your dad a tour of Shelby American. I know you’re a Chevy guy but everyone loves a Shelby.
Hey... I know the "dually" truck... he is local to me.. I just took a couple pics of it last week for a friend of mine.. It may have been a Gas Monkey Garage build, but not actually from Dallas area.. we'll, maybe.... could have built 2 of them.. ❤
The roof is the only thing I didn't like about TUKA. Otherwise I think its perfect. Perhaps that is why they haven't put roofs on their Blazers in the past. I only hope their next Blazer build has a hardtop roof.
If GM won’t build a trx/raptor equivalent then they should start small and bring back a jimmy/blazer (real blazer) back to compete with jeep wrangler and ford bronco
You lucky jerk! HA! For that clip showing the Horsepower Rodeo - it would be so cool to actually hear ALL that horsepower, engine & exhaust notes, squealing tires and not some annoying loud music - with all due respect. I always hate watching Motortrend TV or other TH-cam automotive videos when someone completes a cool build and they start the engine, put a GoPro on the car and go for a drive all-the-while playing music and we can't even hear the car after spending 30-60 minutes watching them build it. Have a great week! 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
You got a point there. A bit of overproduction on that part. In his defense, when you're editing video the worse thing that you can hear is nothing. So, the first thing you try to do is fill the void with background music. I've edited videos for work and been there.
Sema used to be good until all the self-made corn stars joined and had a ton of copy and paste "builds" with all of them claiming they built it, but in reality, they paid a shop to do it amd quality of work was trash. I'm sure it was different and better this year than what it has been last couple of years

Sir you said it exactly right… I would love to be able to sit down with him and discuss everything…
I was able to meet Jason Witten from the Dallas Cowboys and I’m a big Cowboys fan and I barely held it together.lol . I couldn’t imagine meeting chip foose
Kind of gay. There are a lot better builders than him now

Absolutely crushed this video. I can’t believe you were even able to make a top 10, so tough with all the vehicles at SEMA. Well done!

It doesn’t get any cooler than that!!!
The burnout show was off the rails
The sound, the power can never be beat.
Foose! So cool for you!
You nailed this video , killed it! Love your channel !
A little bit of everything! Awesome job.
1000% a CHEVY guy here! I love all American made trucks
Wow love that fox Chevy truck😮❤ (the first one )
First! My American Brother 🤙
Yes for SargeTV!!!! 😃👍
I know it's not a chevy but the alchemy ford bronco was beautiful. A retro mod bronco with a godzilla engine. Masterpiece.
It was my First Time , I'll be popping in Every Year from now on! Bringing My Running Shoes Next Year, There was so Much to See!
Keep your head up man, I have no doubt you will make it to 500k subscribers by the end of next year if you keep on going at this rate!!

That black Camaro looks like they did a super subtle widening of the body.
I liked them all!! Gas monkey really went all out. Great truck.😊
Love the burnouts....
Love this. Have bought a lot from Real Truck
71 was out of this world
Looks like it was a blast.
I like chip foose drawing many years ago thanks for showing cool trucks and cars look beautiful
The Blazin' Rods Chevelle looks like it was inspired by a couple of the Roadster Shop cars.
What wheels are on the last car?
Cool 😎 !
That 70 chevelle is not wild it is thought out. THOUGHT OUT CHEVELLE.
You mentioned adding a sport bar someday. I’ve got an OE bar off my 2020 Trail Boss just sitting if you ever want it. Just down the freeway in DFW.
If I would have known you weee in town, I would have got you and your dad a tour of Shelby American. I know you’re a Chevy guy but everyone loves a Shelby.
There are so many cool builds at SEMA you could do a Part 1, 2, 3, and 4. Naaa need to finish the shop
🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

Soo I stumbled upon your shop build video and been enjoying the content ever since. I relate to the adhd 😂. Are you by any chance on vxvanse?
What you felt meeting Chip Foose, I felt meeting Pappy Boynton (of VMF-214).
Cool
What size lift would look good with 275/60r20 goodyear wrangler 4inch or 6inch ??
Show is straight @$$ I used to love the sho
The roof is the only thing I didn't like about TUKA. Otherwise I think its perfect. Perhaps that is why they haven't put roofs on their Blazers in the past. I only hope their next Blazer build has a hardtop roof.
Do you know anyone around DFW that does LS swaps?

#7 has a front differential making it a K30

I want to buy merch

Please get back to the shop build. I am not a car guy, but I really enjoy the shop build content.
I was with you on your picks right up until your number 1. I think it's UGLY!

Hell I thought gasmonkey was old news and washed up guess not
