Thank you for nomalize doing cold outreach. I start my writing freelancing business myself. And I do a lot of outreach and start signing my first client. It really boost my confidence that I'm in the right track 😅
I literally love all your content and it's very helpful for someone like me who is starting out in this digital marketing field. Thanks for providing value all the time.🙏🙏😍
One of the BEST videos I’ve ever seen on this subject. It was so good I had to watch it twice. I’m just starting out as a virtual assistant and you have gave me a TON of good advice. Thank you Latasha 😊
Thank you Latasha for this video...this is amazing video, every freelancer should watch it. I am unable to use Honeybook now because i am from India, but in future we will definitely. Thank you once again 🎉💐🙏
Curious about your cold emailing tips and tricks...having a hard time getting response. I see they're opening my email, but only got a response from one business that said my services don't align with their budget.
I think job boards are a great place to start. but it's important to build out those 'framework' pieces while doing that (website, professional email). then once you're in a good place with clients, I think the best way to get inbound leads is by posting helpful content!
I agree with a lot of what you say except for honey book. The amount of money that I have lost to them for transaction fees….It’s like $27 per transaction :
Have you found a payment processor that takes less? I’m curious because most of the ones I’ve used take very similar amounts. Those fees should be tax deductible as well
@@thelatashajames I did not know they could be tax deductible 😮! Right now I am trying to just ask my clients for a snail mail check but I do know that PayPal takes less than honeybook.
@@remil6781 yeah I would talk to your accountant about it but they should be able to be written off :) Here are the current fees: HoneyBook takes 2.9% +25¢ and PayPal takes 3.49% + $0.49. So they’re quite similar. Unfortunately these fees are just a part of the cost of doing business!
Latasha, thank you for another episode. You really do good topics. I really want to enroll to your class soon, once I complete my responsibilities at work, and also saved to enroll on your class. Living in the Philippines. Will whatsapp you soon
Hi, there, as someone who been doing this for 10+ years, Certainly, I can provide you with a variety of templates for cold emails. However, it's important to keep in mind that each email should be tailored to the specific recipient and situation. While templates can serve as a starting point, you'll want to personalize your message to increase the likelihood of a positive response. That being said, here are a few tips to consider when crafting your cold email: Start with a clear and concise subject line that grabs the recipient's attention. Introduce yourself and explain why you're reaching out. This could include a brief explanation of your company, your product or service, or your shared interests. Highlight the value proposition of your offering and how it can benefit the recipient. Be specific and provide evidence to back up your claims. Keep your email short and to the point. Avoid lengthy paragraphs and unnecessary details. Include a clear call-to-action that encourages the recipient to respond. This could be as simple as asking for a meeting or a phone call to discuss further. If you're interested in receiving some cold email templates, I'd be happy to provide them for you. However, I would recommend customizing them to your specific needs and target audience. Let me know if that would be helpful for you, and I'll be happy to assist you further.
White labeling is a business model that has gained popularity in recent years, particularly in the technology and consumer goods industries. Essentially, it involves one company creating a product or service and selling it to another company, which then sells the product under its own brand name. This business model has numerous benefits for both the white label provider and the reseller, including: Increased revenue: By white labeling products or services, companies can expand their product offerings without investing in the research, development, and production processes themselves. This allows them to increase their revenue without incurring the associated costs. Brand recognition: Resellers can leverage the brand recognition and reputation of the white label provider to increase their own visibility and credibility in the market. This can be particularly beneficial for startups or smaller companies that may not have the resources or brand recognition of larger competitors. Faster time to market: White labeling can help companies get products to market more quickly, as they don't need to spend time and resources on product development. This can be particularly important in industries with short product life cycles or high demand. Focus on core competencies: By outsourcing the production of certain products or services, companies can focus on their core competencies and strategic initiatives. This can lead to increased efficiency and productivity in other areas of the business. Cost savings: By outsourcing production, companies can avoid the costs associated with hiring additional employees, purchasing equipment, and managing the production process themselves. In summary, white labeling can provide numerous benefits for companies looking to expand their product offerings, increase revenue, and improve their market position. If you're interested in learning more about how white labeling can benefit your business or if you have any questions about the process, we would be happy to discuss it with you in more depth.
I would love to get a professional cold email from a SM to help with IG or some other platform. Instead I get emails from random people basically telling me how much my efforts suck. 😂 That's just the wrong energy. Instant delete.

Cold emailing typically doesn’t work unless it’s an offer you can’t say no to. Otherwise it’s a numbers game imo
Cold e-mails FTW!!
Any tips for beginning to transition your business from upwork?
