Spent couple of summers in ABQ. Loved it! Great outdoors and beautiful nature with the magnificent Sandias looming over the city. Did notice a noticeable difference between the east and the west side of the town The east looks decidedly run down. Is that about the right divide? There seems to be a pawn shop on every corner.

Hey thanks for watching the channel! That’s a really unique perspective that I never noticed. I will say this, the west side is more suburbs and residential and the east has a mix.

NM might be cheap but there’s a lot of red flags with the tax structure. Might require further review.

Where I'm living in the Dallas area what should take only 20 minutes to drive takes about 45-50 minutes because traffic is so horrible. They've really only focused on building housing and not expanding the infrastructure to go along with it. It's created such horrible driving conditions. Also you better have money if you want to do anything in Dallas. As far as "nature" it really isn't there compared to other places. Any kind of recreation is going to cost you LOTS of money.
I love the slower pace of New Mexico. When we were doing campus tours in Texas and Colorado we got the basic help while checking them out. But when we were in New Mexico we were floored at the hospitality that we were shown while there. People went above and beyond just to help us whether it was just directions or answering any kinds of questions we had. People are so much more friendly in NM. Here in Dallas it feels like we're almost on top of one another and it's like the Hunger Games. I'm ready to relax a little. Enjoy some culture and some nature. Not to mention the food is so much better in NM.

Dallas has terrible infrastructure, just broken roads everywhere and no nature. Albuquerque is beautiful.

You must be hard up for selling houses if you're inviting Texans to NM. Come on bro. You know how most New Mexicans feel about Texans. 😂

Hey thanks for watching the channel! Very hard up, we have a current Dallas resident selling a few of their properties so they can move to a new home in ABQ.😎
