    That's a great question. Do you ever have situations where you've had to help calculate the cost of running utilities to a property?

    • @livinginalbuquerque
      @livinginalbuquerque 2 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks for watching the channel! Depends on the situation. More so when we actually sell a property we really try to get that information from the sellers so we can give the better perspective for a buyer.

    Ok we are trying to move from Dallas to Rio Rancho. We own an older but still luxurious hi-rise condo in uptown Dallas. For the same price it is looking like we will have to downgrade to a run down “condo” that used to be an apartment in a not so nice part of town.

    You have a great presentation of the city & have an intimate knowledge of the areas but unfortunately Albuquerque is not a great city to live in due to crime. I mean there are only 18 cities WORLDWIDE you'd be less safe in over Albuquerque. Copied & pasted from Google Where does Albuquerque rank in crime? Albuquerque ranked 19th most dangerous city in the world. Worse than Mexico City, Sao Paulo Brazil, Bogota Colombia, Oakland, Atlanta, Philadelphia or Chicago.Jul 17, 2024 The city's violent crime rate is notably higher than the U.S. average, with 13.88 incidents per 1,000 residents compared to the national rate of 7.8 per 1,000. Property crime in Albuquerque also exceeds national levels. This includes offenses such as burglary, larceny-theft, and motor vehicle theft.Aug 20, 2024

    As long as you don’t have -20 to -50 degree weather in winter along with average snowfall of 24 plus inches of snow. Also having less humid days in summer is also a plus. My asthma is affected more from humidity and extreme cold than much else. Our elevation here in Wisconsin is 1,001 ft. Granted not as high there but shouldn’t be to bad.

    There are definitely tunnels running under downtown from El Rey Theater to Sunshine Theater! I used to work at the El Rey and the Golden West Saloon before it burned down. I didn't know they opened up the lower level as a speakeasy! Cool!

    We were wanting to get out of PHX cuz of the weather , but wanted to stay in the southwest and didn’t care for Tucson. We came out to ABQ/RR to visit and it was perfect and we stayed. It’s a much lower a COL than PHX and summers are really nice. The winter was a little different than I’m used to, but is kind of fun after never having a winter before. It also feels like a small town after living in PHX and being from SoCal which is nice, everyone is so friendly here.

    if allergies are that bad there i cant move there. its crazy some article said abq was the second best us city to live with allergies within the last 2 months.

      To be honest, it really just depends on the individual. I personally am allergic to 90% of the trees here and during the fall is when they get pretty bad for me. Could be a different situation for you. I know a lot of people who don't seem to be bothered by allergies. Thanks for watching the video!
