@@xORLOCKx Yes but we shouldn’t need to be buying & wiring external becs for a $90 stack. All they needed to do was increase the amount of rating to 2A. Not hard to do
would be nice if you put it in a drone and at least checked the prefiltered gyro in a hover. You know those ICM42688 gyros have issues when supplied with poorly filtered power.
Love your content Chris! But this one isn't up my alley. I can read product specs myself. The added value of your channel is the incredibly well designed and executed testing of components - and this video unfortunately delivers none of that. We should not take manufacturers specifications as granted, and it would have been really cool to test some things. A rather long time ago, a channel called Drone Mesh did ESC (noise) testing, that was really useful. Unfortunately he doesn't do that anymore
Really great review, Chris. It's good if you'll keep doing so. But if it's possible, could you please make comparisons between several, like you always do with motors?
I'd like to see how the ESC holds up. The T-Motor F55 lagged in the flywheel and response tests against the others (though that may have been BL_32)...
@TweakRacer for an entire stack that's Tmotor quality.. yes. No one is making you buy it. Stick to the speedy bees if it works. Fly what you like to fly and find YOUR budget. But for Tmotor this is in fact a budget stack.
@xgg_fpv The F722 and F411 have only 512kb of memory - something like that. F405, F745, F765, etc have 1mb. The double. So, it's becoming an issue for Betaflight and iNav.
Review? This is just pointing out what it can do. Not using it at all. Informative video? Yes. Finally a company that does a switchable option for the vtx power!
Great review sir. Alot of features for not alot of money! Can't complain there. I've been running the speedybee f7 v3 to death in almost all of my recent builds because I thought it was dollar for dollar one of the best stacks for the price. I would definitely like to try this stack though. The Bluetooth chip is huge for tuning on the go. I'm doing a 7 inch build next... do you think 50 amp is enough? Probably I will run 2806.5 - 2807 motor...
@NixsmFPV The amount of memory available for the firmware. Like, the F3 boards aren't supported by Betaflight anymore because of that. Now, the F722 and F411 are the next on the list to be dropped... You know? The F405, in opposition, has more than enough memory. The same for F765 and another one I don't remember right now...
Ok, maybe a dumb question but how do you know which side of a flight controller is the top? I’ve had a hard time figuring out board/sensor alignment before and would like to avoid that in the future lol Thank you!
The top usually has the company logo (T for Tmotor next to the Bluetooth chip in the vid.) Also the arrow that shows you the front of the FC is also imprinted on the top.
@@timmieskills it's a nice slack but lacks the Bluetooth speedybee app. Using the app in the field makes it easier to configure your drone. If they would only make it Bluetooth that would set it off a lot better.
Guys this FC only has a 1.5A 10v BEC so it's no good for DJI O3 air units. O3 needs at least 2A. Major oversight from T-Motor on this.
Damn really
Vbat and a 4 dollar matek BEC.. or if you are 4s you can run straight VBAT. Not that big of a deal considering
Why event brother with BEC when u can power o3 from battery
@@tomaszapczuk7761 because if you have a voltage spike it’s dead. When it goes through a bec and you have a spike, the bec takes the hit

Looks a little like Speedy Bee DNA here...Nice review, Thanks Chris, like the format also!
Would love to see your opinions on the foxeer f405 v2 fc reaper stack, saw it on pyrodrone for 67usd
wow...this well fit nicely in your 7-inch build
Can you also take a look at the new foxeer f405 v2 stack? It has blheli32 and 8s capability for around €70,-
foxeer stack seems like a better cheaper buy. and 8s
@@fededabz only downside is that it's f4 but for the money it indeed seems like the better pick

Just started an install of this stack in a tanq and noticed it doesn’t come with any stack screws. Lots of gummies though so there’s that
Awesome review, Chris! 😃
Too bad it's an F722...
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
That's what makes it budget. 🤷
$90 is budget?

isn't f722 a higher end processor? I know h743 is the faster one

Hey! is the T-Motor Velox V50A 6S 32Bit 4-in-1 ESC compatible with the F7 HD Flight Controller for DJI VTX?
The review is quick and dirty but now I have to wait until the next review (if it comes out) to see bench performance… 😫
might be worth it if it was 20x20 but there are good 30x30s to buy now for way cheaper. like FOXEER 8s stack. REVIEW THAT

It should be plenty for a 7 inch, I ran the speedybee f405 v3 stack on mine for quite a bit of hard freestyle without jssue
It's completely unrelated, but can you design a 5 inch racing frame 🤔
So, basically, is 42688P gyro is finally on par with classic MPU6000 with the latest BF4.5?
that's quite expensive, why would one buy this over a speedybee?
If it was an F765 (if I'm not mistaken) I'd disagree... But it's an F722! I have to agree. 😕
@@MCsCreations Pretty new too DIY stuff, what's the difference?
theres an 8s foxeer stack for just under 70 bucks. speedybee or foxeer is a better buy i believe. get a foxeer or speedybee you will be happier.

Any one know the PWM Frequency of the ESC?
is it better than f405 v4 in terms of quality and usage
Shame this stack has a bug with BF 4.5 that gives errors when using bidirectional Dshot.
It’s not just this stack, every F722 has this problem at the minute. It’s a Betaflight 4.5 bug

€103.90 for a F722 ? Is this an out-of-season april fools joke?
