I think us fisherman r the most optimistic ppl around. Every cast, every location we 'know' there is a fish there and we will catch one. It's kinda funny. And when we don't , we walk away scratching our head thinking of what we could/should have done differently and how next time we will slay them for sure.
Just want to say that your videos have increased my catches by a lot. Frogging especially . I’ve learned where to cast to catch them . It’s amazing just watching where you yourself cast and trying them for myself , it works . The rage craws are amazing . I’ve watched almost all your videos and have a few questions , if you have time just message me on here. Thank you again
Who where you racing? 50 years of frog fishing taught me a good rule of thumb, slow that frog down in the early morning. Sometimes dead sticking a frog in the early morning can be the ticket! Really enjoy your videos thanks!
I had an EXO reel but the base to the rod had rivets to the body instead of a solid body and they came loose. Anyway, I contacted Quantum and they sent me a new Smoke reel. I like it a lot!
I can see the advantage of a high ratio reel. Gets the lure in and back out fast! Im beginning to understand why you carry the number of different rods & reels that you do. Thanks for the video.
Yessir! Great that my videos are informative to a degree! Yeah, a lot of ppl are baffled by the amount of rods/reels one brings but with bass fishing there are so many difference techniques that call for different line, rod power and reel speed.!
The way that first fish hit that frog.... I thought it was going to be a frog fest kind of day! Still love the video. It's fun to see you off the cuff! You need a weed guard for that prop. Eliminates 98% of the tangles.
Absolutely Jacob, come say hi next time you see me! I bounce all over the place but my top 3 launches are probably big break, sugar barge, tracey oasis
I understand both sides of the argument and I’m not really sure where I stand on the topic yet (being that I haven’t fished a tournament), but anyone who’s mad about it should get over it. From what I’ve seen tournaments are put on/sponsored by companies that sell and/or produce electric motor systems for kayaks. Therefore, unless your going to start putting on kayak tournaments with your favored rule set, motors aren’t going anywhere. Awesome videos by the way! You played a big role in getting me into kayak fishing! If you stick around ca I’ll see you at the tournaments next year!
Hey Greg if you only catch two ,, whatever it’s fishing , I just like your commentary on the trip. I’ve been wanting to ask but thought it wasn’t my business, but here goes , what do you do for a living , if you mind that’s fine too .... always enjoy your videos, sending for a shirt this week , Thanks Craig. Pa guy
Thanks for the feedback Craig! I don't mind at all and I've mentioned it in a few other videos but I'm a Traveling Physical Therapist. Right now I'm contracting work at a rehab center
SOLUTION TO TITAN WATER SLOSHING: I am a newbie and have been researching a Titan 13.5. I ran across a solution to your splashing problem in the pedal hole. Go to th-cam.com/video/SkD-oFG-_2Y/w-d-xo.html at 9:58 to see how Wade solved the problem. Hope this helps. BTW, your videos are great!!
I can go about 4.5-5 mph with my Hobie so I don't really see an advantage of adding an electric motor. Covering water and traveling long distances any pedal drive kayak has an advantage over a paddle Kayak in a tournament. If I didn't have a pedal drive Kayak I would definitely look into adding an electric motor.
One of the best RAW FISHING channels on TH-cam!!!
You the man, Lojo!

I am a new kayak fisherman and love the videos. New subscriber. Keep them coming.

The duel angle editing is awesome. Some nice bass also. Good luck this weekend.
Thx Darrell, appreciate the feedback!

Loved the video, the double screen gives us double the content. I'm curious as to why you didn't throw to the sunny side of the canal ?
I tried that side without any bites so the shady side was my go to!
That is what topwater has looked like for me lately Greg. Good video man!
Great video! Good luck on clear lake this morning.
I find changing the cadence of the retrieve on a frog can make a world of a difference. There's just those days when they want it hardly moving.
Great video! Love frog fishing!

Awesome video greg fishing with frog you got nices kayat bro.✌️✌️
Keep em coming. Shows exactly how fishing really is. Not going to catch a fish on every cast. As much as we would like that. Tight lines
Thanks Tim!

Thanks for sharing as always.
@gregblanchard I have a kayak to and love to fish the delta but I don't have a good place to drop in I was wondering where you drop in at
everywhere, paradise point, big break, sugar barge, tower park...all kayak friendly launches.
Keep them coming!!
some great catches man .....
Specs on the rod? Greg
Are you walking the frog? I have trouble walking it sitting down. Rod tip is always hitting the water and the handle is always hitting my pfd.
Micah Van Strien get a shorter rod

Just got the weed guard and you're right, so much better!
im a frequent delta fisherman and i believe i have seen you once or twice. ill have to say hello once. and where do you fish out of frequently.
Absolutely Jacob, come say hi next time you see me! I bounce all over the place but my top 3 launches are probably big break, sugar barge, tracey oasis
Hey man, where did u get your pedals for ur propel drive??
In the description below the video.
What reel where you using in the beginning
What kind of paddle were you using here?
werner kalliste
Btw, how did ur fishing day end... How long did u actually stay out and how many fish did u catch?
it ended up being a grind, the morning bite was the main bite and I think I caught maybe 5-6 other fish throughout the rest of the day
Maybe not insisting frog, but trying diving minnows,I got some bites in old river.
I would say it's just a motorized kayak .... I may get one some where down the road...
When frog bite is not working try a buzz bait with just a keitech you will be amazed.. this is my go to when frog bite tough to cover water

I dig this Dirty 30 ! (dirty truth is you don’t catch them every other cast) :)
Haha, I like that! Gonna have to use that for my next 30 min delta vid! lol

👍👍
That reel sounds sick .... needs cleaning.

Great video just the two angles was disorienting

WTF with that reel
Greg, too many moving parts in a kyack ,, Way too many...
