Good stuff, as we say in the fitness and tactical world, "reps" make or break your capabilities in any one skill, and some are harder to get reps on than others, especially if your position is a collateral one, such as mine. This is very useful, and makes for good CEs.

I know I gave you a hard time about how stressed nurses were as opposed to engineers; however, my wife just completed her PMHNP and FNP and her job appears to be less stressful than mines.
We both work remote most days and our salaries are about the same. The only difference is I might be asked to travel (usually a week) 3 or 4 times a year. However, whenever I go somewhere nice, I take her with me anyway, so she gets the best of both worlds with minimal stress in my opinion.
So, you were right when you said that "nursing is what you make of it."

What travel agencies would you recommend? Also how much experience is needed to apply for traveling? Unfortunately, here in my Texas town we dont have local travel agencies. The assignments have to be a certain distance from home I believe greater than 50 miles.

Hey there! I worked with two travel agencies, one being AYA (I personally do NOT recommend) the other being SPIRE. SPIRE was a local agency to Atlanta. I would recommend if you are looking into local travel, find a local agency. There are a lot of FB groups out there for travel nurses. If you want to work at one specific hospital find out what agency that hospital works with!
