a small warning to those who want to use quad remember for animation, remember this software is best used for simple props and objects. I use it regularly for this purpose. For animation however, especially facial animation, quad remesher currently lacks the intentionality required to make a reliable mesh. this issue is particularly bad when it comes to animating the eyes and mouth.
@@gregoryporter-gaming2559 yeah if its a character then doing manual retopo is currently the only way to go, but for background models then a tool like this works just fine
@@Skedooosh Yes that works up to a point, but it's still not enough to make a good animatable typology, and to really force it to do the loops you want at that point you are doing as much work as it would take you to do the Retopo of the model, but it really depends on the use case of the model
it's not good for any animation models as it lacks the loops you need to get proper deformations, but if your animation is a low poly background character or item then yeah this tool is great for those back-end models. for the main character what you really want is good edge flow so manual retopology is still what you need to do
@@Dammy3d google can show results but when I click the website, don't open. It only opens with VPN.Unfortunately, using a VPN is not legal in our country. So, as a company owner, I may have a headache if I am detected using a VPN, and I am already worried about the connection security of the VPN. I guess I'll have to write about this issue on exoside itself. Thanks.

Would you say it’s easier to manually retopo everything fron scratch OR use quad remesher and fine tune the edge flow in important places?

you can control it by adding materials to direct the edge flow

Is there something on internet that shows what you say ? I would like to see this in a picture/ video to have an exemple, thanks :)
Hello, it is paid addon. Very expensive addon for an independent artist.
did someone try to animate after a retopo with quadremesher ?
