So even though being an empathic has been very hard at times cause I have had to experience truths and emotions that have been very powerful. A year ago my parents divorced after 30 years of marriage.. My Dad still loved my Mom and didn't want to leave, but my Mom wanted out. I so badly wanted to fix everything and have them stay married.. I felt my Dad's pain as though it was my own and it was devastating. I asked my sister to help me get them back together and she wouldn't do it.. She told me she understood what I felt. But if she really knew what I felt then she wouldn't have such a lack of empathy about the whole situation. I am still scarred emotionally from the pain I absorbed from my Dad.

Everything is good, we r all empaths on different levels some are reaching Unconditional love which is the goal for humanity. Some r still evil and eventually by being around end up learning their lessons, like the movie Scrooge. I never can say “ i forgive you “ i just accept, that i tried to show an evil person why perhaps he/she is the way they are for whatever psychological from any experience that made them that way. Because we must remember we choose our path before we get here to learn lessons, so the human that is a healer, spiritual, more developed human can help with the lessons so we can all eventually reach Unconditional love to move to higher dimension. We need to teach the children to tune in to our empathic side, regardless what path they chose. Unconditional love is very important, most people are busy opening 3 rd eye, yoga, healers, yet they do not really practice Unconditional love. Unconditional love means you can still love another person no matter how evil they were towards you, you move on, but you don’t have to forgive cause its up to that human to have the Aha moments that eventually kick in today, or tomorrow or years from the day you showed them the right path. We do have powers, we all can heal. By reaching Unconditional love we are spreading good vibrations to the Earth!!! We need to do was right and not be ashamed for doing so. We tune in to abundance, but we r to remember that abundance is different for each person too many people are reared toward financial abundance the big house the expensive car and all that means nothing if we cannot love thy neighbor and as a society we do nit let someone that has done time in prison to get a job, and gossip at work about those persons, and gossip about fear of being around a fellon not knowing why the person was in prison, for all we know it may have been out of hunger to feed self or family, so if you are a person on your mission to be an empath, healer, yogi, whatever remember to not judge that too is part of being empathic “ no judging, no criticism , no gossiping, no back biting, no hate, just accept we are souls with different likes. Then you have to find and eliminate the cause of the energy/entity being attached to you and change your lifestyle. Maybe a person or place should be excluded from your life? Maybe you work somewhere or have family you can't avoid so this energy will be back. Practice energy shielding and energy grounding (these are meditations). Energy shielding just means you consciously block the energy with your mind (hard work, takes practice) and energy grounding is what this video talks about, going to connect w Earth energy. This whole process works better the more confidently you believe in it. Having a religion will help too because the Bible, Koran, and Torah all have instructions and prayers for this. Consult your rabbi/pastor too. They may have secular advice or may be willing to do the sage work for you. Some causes: your Welcome matt, if it says welcome (or similar) that is an invitation. You have mirrors in your home facing a doorway, a window, or another mirror. This is an open portal in your home. Maybe you wished someone harm or stole something that was not yours? Sometimes we conjure this energy with our own thoughts, or by watching a bad program or by taking the wrong drugs (otc or psychedelic/psychotropic meds). Again your religious text will tell you about cursed objects or occult symbols that draw energy. This is culturally specific so you have to identify these as your faith recommends. Reading and personal research is your safest bet because not all energy comes from the same place or acts the same way. It is your personal energy so we can only give advice, your intuition has to reveal why the energy is there so you know what it needs from you to go away.
You mentioned something about alternate realities that resonated with me. I wonder whether those realities disappear once the "shadow" energy that created them has been resolved. Perhaps the dissolution of no longer needing to chase a dream outside of ourselves leads to not only peace within but creates new more peaceful alternate realities that strengthen everyone collectively.
