Keep on looking at this Cruise as a way to visit New York as well. Some people are critical of the ship but it looks beautiful and the itinerary is amazing. Lots of sea days

I just went on the Meraviglia last week of may! wE LOVED IT! We ate main dinning room all week no need for specialty resturaunts. First Nite i had prime rib, 2nd nite a filet and lobster tail everynight i always had one of the specials in main dinning room and liked them all, I dont know why so many people post bad reviews about the food but we enjoyed the food and ship alot!! I dont like buffetts so i mostle ate breakfast and lunch in sitdown dinning rooms so my food was always good and i didnt pay any xtra money. My brother likes buffetts and he was happy with it. I ordered 2 appitizers every day and they brought us xtra of anything we asked for also. They also cleaned my room twice a day I always make a mess and like top take 2 showers a day - so I tipped xtra - some cruise lines i heard wont clean twice a day and MSC no problem,
Nice! I'm going July 30th! My first cruise ever. So happy to see you had a great experience. If you don't mind me asking, the places you went off the cruise, did you plan in advance? I wasn't sure what to do once we were off the boat or how to plan anything.
We booked the snorkong at the private island and we did the NASA museum but that we booked after we were Lready on the ship ! It said sold out but they seemed to have more available om the ship, some excursions did sell out fast
They do have excursions off of the ship I was told. of course that’s more money. But that’s up to the cruises if they want to do it or not. Just go to their website.
I’m going in August too. We’re taking our children and grandkids. 14 people. We’ve been on many cruises never on MSC. Never went out of Brooklyn always Manhattan.
great video, one of the better Meraviglia vids i've seen! how easy was it to get the ship's transportation to and from Disney, do you feel it was worth it to go there for the day? we are considering doing this...what was the date of your cruise ? TIA :)
Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it. You need at least a full day to have a full Disney experience from the port to Disney World is an hour each way and being that it’s summertime. The parks are packed. You may be able to get on one to three rides if you’re lucky.
Same question. How did you book the Disney excursion? I don’t see it’s being offered now and it seems we have from 13:00 to 21:00 hours. Going next week for this cruise
It was awesome I had a good 4 hours in the park but I did feel rushed but I have been to Disney all my life so it was very easy for me to navigate and keep track of time
Ok. Great ! I had my trip. The excursion was offered once we were onboard the ship. It wasn’t available online before boarding the ship. We went to EPCOT and of course it was a rushed trip, however it was worth it.

so the main dining roon is not extra pay basically free? just the specialty restaurants you pay xtra?

I was at DW from open to close a few weeks ago. And I didn’t get to see everything.
How was the trip out to Disney? Going in December. Port Canaveral day goes: arrive at 1 pm and aboard by 9 pm seems like it's not enough time.
