Dimonique is on QVC. Diamonds International are the stores that have no connection with QVC. Tanzanite not Tanzania. Tanzania is the country. Pandora not Prada. Hope that helps.
Thank you so much for the positive comment. The reason why I do these videos is I'm legally blind and I'm trying to teach other limited Vision people how to travel safely and affordably. And I tailor in a way that everyone can benefit from the information that I give so thank you very much.
You're not "one block off the main road". You're ON the Main Road (Bay Street) where the ice cream shop and Diamonds shop are. 😊 The front entrance of The Straw Market is on Bay Street (Nassau's main street). You entered and walked through from the rear of the market, from the cruise ship street.
Looks bout same as last time we were there....unlike the island south of Cuba..starts with a J.... the Bahamaians know tourism supports their main economy and they appreciate customers
The shops that are permanent shops take credit cards I do not know if inside the market that people selling Goods use credit card readers on their phone or not. There are ATM machines around that you would pay an international transaction fee. But if you're in the market area it is completely safe that just carry a small amount of money maybe $100 breaking up in twenties and you be perfectly fine there's there's so many people and so many police and in the market area it's safe you don't have anything to worry about there.
The signs on the sidewalk are what causes a dangerous and hazardous congestion by blocking the sidewalk. Someone ( a child or elderly person ) can bump into them and fall, then who’s to blame ?
So the harsh reality is in other countries they don't have the same safety laws that we have. They do things much differently just like and Southeast Asia Vietnam Lau Cambodia Thailand in China if you get hurt it is your fault not the company's. And my basis of understanding is cuz I've lived in Southeast Asia for five years before coming back to America
Do you know if it's possible/safe to walk from here to Paradise Island, where Atlantis is? I'm trying to see if I can walk from the hotel to here without having to take any public transportation.
It is possible you have to cross the big bridge I don't know how much spacing there is between you and cars I don't know the distance are duration of time but there is a TH-cam video of a couple that was on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship they walked from the cruise ship terminal to the Atlantis Hotel
The name of the video is Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas the perfect first cruise dated one month ago in the video at 11 minutes in they are walking from downtown Nassau over the bridge two Paradise Island
There is a small Beach that if you come out of the cruise ship terminal turn to your right and walk down past the strong Market there is a small little Beach area. But that is not the main Beach area that is over near the Atlantis Hotel you have to take a taxi or transportation to the beach near the Atlantis Hotel
If you had walked past that last pink building ahead with the scaffolding outside, you'd had come upon the House of Assembly Square and the famous statue of Queen Victoria!! Shame you missed that. You were SO close.
Please don't find any type of offense this video is intended for people who have never traveled to the Bahamas but people who are interested in traveling there. It is to set unfamiliar Travelers Minds at ease that the Bahamas is safe to travel to. Please understand that a lot of people do not travel because they do not understand safety or awareness or where they're going to. If you've never been you don't understand
Hey, thanks a lot for the video! I really appreciate you pointing out the accessibility markers. That means the world to me 💪

Sir, some of the travelers have made advance reservations for specific taxis, tour vans, etc

Do they take credit cards in the Bahamas? I’m afraid to walk around with lot of cash. Taking RC independence of the sea next week.

If you purchase the handbags like Louis Vuitton does the cruise ship let you take it on the ship? And how much are they ?
I have never had an issue with purchasing Gucci or Louis Vuitton bags
But normally they're inside of another shopping bag I am in Miami at least going through customs immigration they don't normally ask
Thank you!!
21:39 😂

Why do you keep mentioning that the place is safe. Why wouldn't the place be safe?.

The US has just issued a travel advisory for the Bahamas. You are safe in the tourist areas, but be very careful in the non-tourist residential areas.
