    I would change the rollers for a better set to allow free movement, but it looks good. I have a 06 HD V-rod, and my back tire is 240 mm, so it wouldn't fit in the Dolley. Thank you for the video, it gave me the details I needed before I made the purchase.

      Thanks. Yeah with a proper set of rollers this would work much better.

    This works well for you...I have seen these for cars as well. Makes spinning a car around very easy. I don't think I would trust it unless it was on level ground.

    I'm definitely picking up one of these.
    I'll likely update the hardware and find some better casters to make rolling my 900 pound behemoth around the garage a bit less of a workout.

    Much like you I have a small car and a half garage with six full size bikes and other stuff in it I bought the HF bike dolly some years back for 89 bucks to put my son's sportster on it and for the most part it does the job I'm not spending $600+ for a condor dolly

    • @Mudslidex1
      @Mudslidex1  ปีที่แล้ว

      For $89 bucks you got a great deal! I find this dolly extremely useful. Does it roll as nice as a $600 one? No. But hey, it's cheap and it works

    Nice video. Thanks for the info. Buying one today. Do you happen to know what the width of the main plates are? Planning on putting some wheel chocks on there.

    Joe - can you ride the bike forward off the ramp without backing it up?

    • @Mudslidex1
      @Mudslidex1  ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Sure can. That’s exactly what I do. I drive up on it. Spoke it around and drive off it. It has built in ramps on both sides

  • @jayskyblue

    I have a fully dressed Indian pursuit (similar to a Harley Road Glide). Trying to see if it will fit. What is the length of your motorcycle?

    • @Mudslidex1
      @Mudslidex1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      61.25 inches is the wheelbase of my Tiger 900

    • @leahbrettt
      @leahbrettt 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Indian pursuit fits although you'll find that as you touch the dolly with the front wheel it will roll forward, so you need to stop the dolly in some way,

    Can the tray for the kickstand be adjusted if needed?

    • @Mudslidex1
      @Mudslidex1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. There are multiple holes for positioning the kickstand plate either more forward or back depending on where the one on your bike lands. Mine happened to be smack in the middle.

    I was hoping you would show taking it off. I just bought one. not an inch to spare for my CBR1000F. I dropped it taking it off.

    • @Mudslidex1
      @Mudslidex1  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Oh man, sorry to hear. I didn't think of showing taking it off as for me that's the easy part, basically lift the kickstand and walk or ride it off slowly. Riding it up and aligning the kickstand was the harder one for me. Hope your bike is OK

  • @peterkenworthy9219
    @peterkenworthy9219 25 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    Easy to install???
    Took me 3 hours , heavy , awkward and you need tiny fingers ,
    Maybe at 59 I take longer and I sure do ache …

    • @Mudslidex1
      @Mudslidex1  25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      LOL. Maybe I got lucky. The hard part for me was I kept putting the wheels on the wrong side!! But yes it is heavy too. I was 52 at the time of building it. So yeah, each year things seem heavier and heavier!

      The bolts were awkward at the wheels ,difficult to get the spanner in . Remind myself never to give away a full set of ‘ spare spanner’s ’ as I definitely needed the one I didn’t have 🤣🤪🤪.
      Believe you me , I’m bloody aching now . But defo worth the purchase 👌

    Why not just do the old lean the bike on the kickstand and spin it about trick?

    • @Mudslidex1
      @Mudslidex1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because I'm not that skilled. Lol. But honestly I was going to try that but have read several times about the Tiger side stand being weak. I don't know if theres any truth to it, but I'd rather not find out the hard way

    • @anthonyclark457
      @anthonyclark457 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That kickstand trick would damage the garage floor unless you have a plastic kickstand protector. Plus the reason for this dolly is to move the bike around the garage with ease especially in tight spots or small garages.

    • @sociopathmercenary
      @sociopathmercenary 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1
