I have also made a few more additions since I did this video if you'd like to check them out. Also getting ready to make a few more and I will post those videos in the coming weeks. Really enjoy your videos and all of the great ideas. Lesson I have learned is to keep your cell phone on your person at all times. One day I put my grapple on blocks, reached over to unlock the right pin on quick connect, and the loader arms came down. Unfortunately my right foot was under loader and when it fell pinned my foot to the ground. Because I had my cell phone in my pants pocket I was able to call for help. Scared me and was not hurt, sure glad my wife answered the phone in the house.😁

    Something I notice while driving my friend Kubota with similar exhaust configuration under the engine is that I keep smelling the exhaust gas quite often while with the MF high exhaust I never notice the smell. Sometimes on the Kubota it gets a bit to much. I wish they would would be an exhaust mod to route it backwards, at least pass the rear axle. Great work, clean, and organized, they way I like it.

    So far on my CK3510, I made small tool box that sits on top of fuel tank, made bracket for ROP light to sit inside of ROPs, made 400lb rear ballast out of rail road iron, rear diff hold-down knob, made right side step, welded on, bucket hook, and lastly had to strengthen up front grill so wont bend so easy.... So far all my add-ons are using exiting bolt holes, only had to make couple small welds for right side step.....
    Next on list is add skid-plate, I change hydraulic filter for second time mid Nov, I notice a big dent in filter that looked like it was hit with baseball bat and I hardly ever go in woods....

    • @backyardcountrylivin1514
      @backyardcountrylivin1514  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A lot a great add ons you have there. The skid plate is a great idea. I saw one video where one of the hydraulic filters got punctured with a stick and all the fluid drained out. Then another where a guy was moving a dirt pile with the bucket and ended up slamming the oil pan down on a big rock and cracked it. I would love to see the plate installed if you happen to make a video of it. I subbed to your channel. Thanks for checking out the video and commenting. Happy New Year!

      Hey Allen, yes got rear tires loaded from dealer and then of course the additional weight from the box blade and the box under the rack full of bricks. I’m guessing in the neighborhood of 700 extra pounds of rear weight, not counting the weight from the loaded tires. Definitely need it to lift some of those heavier items you mentioned. The strap configuration you have to hold your PVC chain holder onto the tractor, where did you get those? my local hardware store has no idea how to get them. Are they online or do they have a specific name? Or, did you just make them?

      They are called conduit hangers. Should be able to find them at Lowes, Home Depot or any electrical supply store. The ones I used are for 1/2" conduit. I did wrap the bar with some electrical tape to add some thickness and keep it from scratching the bar. Hope this helps and thanks for checking out the video.

    Thank you for the video. I have a Kioti CS2220 with a front loader and a 48" rear finish mower and rear blade. I want to have a bit more stability and install rear wheel spacers. I have been told yes and no by two different dealerships on spacers. I have contacted Kioti, and their answer was " You must contact and work with a dealer to make sure as i cannot advise upon this matter." Do you or anyone out there have any advice on wheel spacers for this Kioti CS2220? Thank you in advance.

    • @backyardcountrylivin1514
      @backyardcountrylivin1514  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have read on some of the tractor groups about people adding spacers and they seem to be happy with the added stability. Back in my farming days, we would add rear wheels spacers for row crop farming and it definitely gives you more stability and sense of security. I don't really know anyone who has added them to a Kioti or the model you have. I did find this website below that does list different size spacers for your model. I'm just guessing if they make them for your model, then they should be approved and safe. You could probably reach out to them with a email or phone call and get a bit more information. Hope this helps and thanks for watching and commenting.

      Good question. I do have one, but I mostly use it on my MF-231 with disc harrow, rotary cutter and a few other implements. Works on a about half of the implements that I have. Box blade stays on Kioti most of the time. Probably will add one to Kioti at some point. That for watching and commenting.

      That’s a good idea. I’m sure they would put out better lighting from there.
