a really great tip for packing, especially for delilah, if you pull the drawers out of the chests, because you'll be moving those anyway, and wrap them in cling film/put a bin bag over them to stop everything falling out it saves so much time on either end and you'll be able to find all the things easier :)

Top tip when moving house with little ones ...always make sure their bedroom is the first you set up on moving in day. Unless they stay with someone else while you're moving in being able to put them.down for a nap and to bed on time is valuable.
Yes! Completely agree. This weekend we plan on making sure our bedrooms are somewhat unpacked (especially Delilah’s) but luckily on Saturday night she’s staying at nana’s so we’ll have more time to sort out her black out blinds 😅

I haven’t been able to watch your vlogs since JULY! Yes, July lol. I’ve been so busy with work and uni starting up again that I just haven’t had the time, and literally every day that has gone by it felt like something was missing. That missing feeling was me missing your vlogs! I know that this may sound completely ridiculous but I actually became less motivated in life and in my classes and even in my health. I also have extreme anxiety and depression and that got a little worse too. It wasn’t a complete 180 turn around for me but it was enough to notice a difference in my body and mind. I finally got back to watching your vlogs last night and it made me feel so much better. I felt relaxed, motivated to be healthy and get work done, and like I could conquer all my bad feelings. I never realized until now how much your vlogs have helped me begin the process of overcoming my anxiety personally and socially and how they’ve helped me want to have a healthier lifestyle. Seeing you overcome your anxiety in your bike and driving vlog, seeing that you can get out of bed in the morning and stay positive and motivated in your health and lifestyle, and generally just seeing you getting things done around your flat and in your work has helped me so much in my life. It’s just nice to know that people with the same struggles as myself are able to power through it and stay motivated. I know it’s hard but you make it so much easier to see that it’s possible 💕

by the way a bit of advice: pack a box with toiletries and clothes for THREE OR 4 DAYS, not just one (and other essentials like D's toys). Also freezed food, like a big tray of pasta and pre-made burritos for breakfast that can be frozen will save you

Thats what we are doing when it comes to ordering things online we keep the more thicker boxes to use for when we move ( just flat pack them till theyre needed)

Nothing better than a whole house declutter when you move! Me and my husband used to live in the city and moved every year or two and I honestly miss it now that we’re in a house 😂
It’s very satisfying! I can’t wait to deep clean the house and unpack everything neatly AND have a kitchen that can be somewhat organised 👏🏻😅

We just had the same hello fresh box (we are veggie so same meals too!) and it was our first one! I was very impressed, it was fun and tasty but quite pricy for just a couple veggie meals which is a shame.

how do you feel, as someone who advocates for plastic-free sustainable things as much as possible, about the packaging hello fresh has? i've ordered a couple times & it's just an insane amount of packaging. i understand it because everything has to be fresh and cool and safe to eat, and i am also in no way trying to point fingers or say that you don't uphold those values because you work with the company! (i remember in your last vlog you saying "i'm not trying to pretend to be perfect" and i definitely don't want you to think i think you should be!) i'm just wondering what your honest thoughts are about it, what you'd like to change if you could (if there is anything you'd like to change), and why it's worth it to you to continue using and working with the brand despite what you might feel about their packaging!

Rhiannon, I just finished this really amazing book last night. It is the most perfect fall/winter book. If you do the Audible version, the narrator is just perfection. It would be a great unpacking your house and enjoying the fall kind of book

I see how good hellofresh can be for somebody who doesn't know how to cook... but all that packaging doesn't really do much for the environment...
if you think about the packaging that you end up using when you buy a bunch of ingredients to cook for yourself, it equates to a similar amount. also, from what i know about hellofresh, i think most of their packaging is bio degradable or reusable (:
May I ask... what painting/ drawing is that in the background on the wall of what looks like a little girl walking in the snow holding a red balloon? I’ve seen it before in your vlogs and tried to google it based on a description but to no avail...saw it again in this vlog and it sparked my interest to ask.

Jist wondering, how did Delilah take night feeds when she stayed overnight when she was smaller? My 9 month old won't take a bottle, it's no issue as he hasn't ever left me overnight yet, but would be handy to know if he needed to stay over while he is still waking for night feeds. Really sorry if that didn't make sense 😅🙈
PaigeandFJ my daughter wouldn’t take a bottle til 6 months, I used a minbie bottle it took a little while and then she took to it, and then after that she would have any bottle 😊
Anais & Zara ahh he is 9 months and still won't, he drinks from his water cup, but won't drink milk from it 🙈
By 10 months, mine didn't have any night feeds. They don't need it nutritionally at that age so i would just feed before you go and when you see them again the next morning

You go on and on about being sustainable yet you have done several sponsored videos by Hello Fresh who create so much waste with their over-packaging of all the ingredients. Yes, the packaging can be recycled, but the production and the recycling of the packaging takes a lot of energy, often in the form of fossil fuel consumption. It's much better to not create the packaging in the first place - buy loose veg and fruit in the supermarket. Much more environmentally friendly and not overpriced like Hello Fresh!
Aoife c All we can do is try our best. Trying to be more sustainable is important, but we also have to live our lives. Nobody is perfect. Yes, Hello Fresh can create a lot of waste, but this is her job and sponsored videos help her pay the bills.
Exactly. Like I pointed out in the video, if we’re busy and forget to have dinner in, we end up buying ready meals or take away which also produces a lot of waste. I agree, I think they should think of ways to reduce waste more but overall, we enjoy the service and if we use them occasionally, why wouldn’t I work with them. I don’t pretend that I’m perfect or ‘zero waste’.
