I was the guy it worked for from the last video. I was working in 110 degree temps, and I had to rush immediately when in the sun. Just no way to let it dwell in that heat. I found it super helpful on the higher areas, that are more difficult to brush (I have bad shoulders). I think the main takeaway here is there is no “one size fits all” with chems and processes. We all fine tune our processes and procedures, and that makes us experts in our own individual way. I find that really beautiful. Thanks for the video, as always!
What is your favorite brush and extension pole you use. Also, what is the name of the restore product you use after removing the oxidation. I really appreciate the time you’ve spent doing these videos, great information! Thanks!
I tried OxKnox on 2 metal buildings. It didn't work. I used it strait with heavy brushing. It wouldn't take the last 20% off. I may test it out on a vinyl job next. Cleansall BC is hard to beat.
First time watcher, great informative video. I see you have tested this product along with Eaco chems Cleansol BC. I see you have mixed results with both. Do you think it would be worth spending time making your own mixture with sodium hydroxide and water ratio to test out?
Yes 👍 A 32 oz to 1 gallon mix seems to work perfectly for me especially when the dwell time needs to be under two mins. On Hardie Board I always start off with a lower mix ration and work my way up to figure out the best results.
Can you tell me what the product is? You mentioned a type of wax in your video. I looked it up but I couldn’t find it. If you don’t want to give out that info I understand.
Just curious never done it but is oxidation removal profitable for the amount of time it takes, I'm in Texas and we have alot of oxidation and extreme heat.
Yes, it can be profitable as long as you’re pricing your jobs accordingly. Also, if you have a small crew that can cut the time in half that might make things even more palpable. In my case I do all of my jobs solo so it takes me a little bit longer, but I still charge accordingly. .95 to $1.50 a square foot depending on a few variables. Size of home color of paint amount of oxidation, type of siding, etc..
@mountainviewsoftwash9135 , yes it's definitely worthwhile. My sister lives in Colorado Springs and I never want to come back to Texas when we go see her. It must be nice to work in paradise !!!! Have a blessed day sir....
I really enjoyed the video! Well done! Have you happened to use Gutter Butter on LP Smart Siding? Is it safe to assume it would be similar to your success with use on this Hardie Board?
I have used oxnox a lot. It really does work at 9:40 it looks like you let it dry. You cannot let it dry at all. And I know you talk about chem locking but you got to keep it from getting dry just a little Spritz here and there to keep it from drying cuz it looks like it did work on the spots where it didn't dry
Ox Knox was way too expensive. I found a cheaper alternative to remove the thick oxidation from my vinyl siding - zep industrial purple degreaser. Mix up to 50/50 and remove with moderate pressure. I used a 2000 psi electric pw with a turbo nozzle at a distance. I did have to brush the heavy areas.
I have seen the video of it working as advertised and I have seen your videos. Bud it’s literally this simple . You don’t have enough rinsing power and that is your choice. If you had a 5.5 gpm with a ball valve it would have been a different outcome. From what I’ve seen it comes off with ease with a little pressure. A ball valve is not skin breaking pressure but it’s significantly more than your setup . I suggest you get a buddy with a pressure washer or rent one and try it again. 98 percent of so called soft wash companies actually use a ball valve off there pressure washer to rinse.
I’ve tried pressure with my 8pm after full strength in the shade at 75F and I still had to brush the heck out of it. Not knocking it but I can’t get it to be brushless after several vinyl houses. Maybe I got a bad batch?🤷🏼 I’d love to figure this out because it would be the Bomb!

Very thorough and detailed video! Feel like I'm getting free, but very high quality instruction. Thank you for sharing 🙏🙏🙏
they promote this as brushless product i do not believe it works that easy thanks for feed back.

What is best for oxidation? It appears you have tried most chems. And what type of brussh used?
How does it affect gutters and downspouts and the glass in windows from overspray?
If i cleaned a house but when u looked at it from the side you can see the lines on it still. Will this work to fix it. If so thanks
Yes I had same issue on this home. Took a little tweaking to my ratios and additional scrubbing
You said in your videos that you spray some kind of restores after the cleaning. What do you use?

Good information. You have a very nice setup in your truck. Have you, or can you do a walkaround video and show us your system ?
Thanks! I did a walk-around video. Go to 5:09 in this video 👉 th-cam.com/video/yX-wXYFsyxo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=7-k9O0kg6bIdx_wL

LA's Totally Awesome All-Purpose Cleaner works and it is $5 a gallon at the Dollar Store.
I agree
That removes oxidation!?

hey brother, what brush do you use?
I really this brush 👉 DocaPole Soft Bristle Car Wash... www.amazon.com/dp/B07Y2DHDWF?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
How much would you charge for oxidation removal on a 3 story motel with a perimeter of 530 ft and walls 30 ft high?

What is your go-to brush for houses and ox removal? Is softer better?
You use the same thing for vinyl? Gutter butter? What’s your mix
Yes 👍 A 32 oz to 1 gallon mix seems to work perfectly for me especially when the dwell time needs to be under two mins. On Hardie Board I always start off with a lower mix ration and work my way up to figure out the best results.
Did you use that spray on coating afterwards on this that you use on vinyl?
Yes, works really well on Hardieboard.

Thank you very much
I’m up here - over here in Rhode Island. Plenty of oxidation here too
Good job the house looks great.
Thanks for the info!

it's to slow and expensive , i will only try something like this in areas that are to dangerous to get to on ladder
Ya I spent like 250$ on this shit and I ended up hand scrubbing an entire home!!!! It wit rid of the oxidation just in half the areas!!

6-8 hours on a house wash? Yikes homie, what is "pricing accordingly"? 6-8k?
Definitely not $1k an hour 😳
