I saw Jinjer headline a show last week (I also saw them headline last year). I decided to splurge for the VIP Experience because they limited it to 15 people. On the list of things included with the VIP was attending the sound check. In actuality, they had finished the sound check and gave the 15 of us a two song mini concert. We all stood at the rail and I was in the middle so I was right in front of Tatiana. The second song they performed for us was Pisces. It was incredible to watch and hear Tatiana sing this song standing less than 10 feet away. As good as this video is, it doesn't compare to hearing her live. After the "sound check", the 15 of us were invited on stage and spent the next 30 minutes or so talking with them. Then we all walked to the lobby of the venue for signings and individual pictures. Of course the show they put on that evening was amazing, as I knew it would be.
Welcome to the Jinjer rabbit hole, Tatiana is one of the best front women today. She has one of the best voices ranges of any female singers who are now topping the metal charts. I have Jinjer on most of my gym playlists.
Welcome to Jinjer. Tatiana is a vocal goddess and the band is amazing. The song is about the duality of the Pisces personality. (The symbol is two oppositely swimming fish) . If you want to keep reacting to the band, I recommend "Perennial" live at Wacken 2019.
Well, for workout playlist you could use some eralier Jinjer's stuff. Outlander seems to be a good choice. The band have many very heavy stuff actually. Pisces is actually the one of their less heavy songs. The last song Rogue they released recently heavy af, no clean singing at all. But most of their heavy stuff is not the best choice for workout 'cause in a gym you need something with a stable rhythm. While Jinjer is a prog band, they tend to make a polyrhythmic mazes which don't allow you to make stable rhythmical moves. It's even hard to headbang, you are always banging off the next beat. But, as I said, earlier Jinjer stuff is more straighforward and some of that tracks could be usefull for workout.
Dudes, you need to watch Tati sing Judgement and Punishment, which she does solo to the band's recorded music. But also, listen to Teacher Teacher, Who is Gonna be the One, Someone's Daughter, Perennial, etc. This band is amazing, Tati is a world-class singer- and that voice at the end just after she begins the growl, is a belt. This song was recorded not to showcase Tatiana, mind you, but Vlad, the drummer, who had just joined the band and who is self-taught on drums (he is an accomplished classical pianist, known for mastery of Rachmaninoff!). Tati is a strong introvert, but she commands the stage like few you will ever see- do watch Perennial live at Wachen 2019.
Lol Jinjer is ukrainian proggy djent groove metal with complex time-signature maze, polyrhythms and multi-genre blending. Here’s some stuff I read. Tatiana is a Pisces. Off stage she’s pretty quiet. When the war in Ukraine started, their home, they all volunteered. They were told to continue touring and support the cause. Should have kept her.
Hi ! Jinjer is a great band. I'd like to introduce you to an amazing band and a true singing goddess. React to “Ghost Love Score” by Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. The title of the YT video is “NIGHTWISH - Ghost Love Score (OFFICIAL LIVE)”. The genre is symphonic metal. They have soft songs and heavy songs. They have a large fan base that calls itself the Nightwish Army, nice people with pleasant comments on YT reactions to Nightwish videos.
I've heard people say that Tatiana is the best female extreme vocalist in metal right now. I disagree. I think she is the best extreme vocalist, period.

This recent proclivity of commentators who are enraptured by groups that have a lot of songs, which some how equals excellence, to use the "rabbit hole" go to - like a lot of something = everything that is made is worth while is just short-sighted. This "I'll go soft" and then "cookie monster" the rest of the song may be a trend, may be a "genre" but that does not make it good. You can go down the propaganda "rabbit hole" of 1930's Germany - there is limitless documentation - but that doesn't make it good. This is an awful song, and I look forward to all of your responses. Delivering nearly incomprehensible lyrics doesn't make a song "deep."
I have no issue with someone not liking this type of music. However, describing the lyrics as "incomprehensible" is more of a reflection of your intelligence than Tatiana's immense talent as a lyricist.
@danw6048 Well, he's hardly demonstrating a facility for marshaling cogent arguments 😉 And a dislike of "rabbit holes" hardly qualifies as an aesthetic judgement 😉

The meaning of the song is in the title "Pisces". It deals with the features of pisces people and their duality.

Thank you - took the lyrics off one of the lyrics webpages
The line is actually "Scale armor bellies", not "blaze", referring to the belly of the fish
