Bravo. This was an excellent tutorial. We started our Yoto journey in November and the possibilities for MYO cards are endless! Thanks for sharing your ideas and taking the time to make this.
Hey the exact card sizes are 2.15 inches by 3.375 inches so in pixels according to photoshop they are 645 pixels by 1013 pixels. Let me know if you have any other questions.
I normally just save from google answers selected the higher quality photo in the advanced search features. Since I’m not selling them, I wasn’t worried about copyright issues. Also, if you search dvd, cd, or movie covers they come pretty close to what I was wanting. Thanks for watching!
I can't find where you get the PDF template that you upload to Photopedia. The link just takes me to the Chromalabel site where I can buy labels? Am I missing something?
@@TheSimpleHaus Yes, thank you. But what I'm asking about is in 1:06 in your video you click file, open in Photopea. How do you get that template file to upload?
@@danisunshine207 Oh sorry! I will fix my link, here is a link you need to scroll down to the rectangular 2x3 label. www.chromalabel.com/pages/laser-inkjet-templates Let me know if it doesn't work!
The Yoto cards are 3.375 x 2.15 inches so you will barley have a gap on the side edges, and a bit extra on top and bottom, so you will just have to trim off any extra, but it should work
Most of them I just got from google and downloaded. Since I'm not selling the labels, I wasn't really worried about copyrighting. Sometimes I compile my own from clip art or images using photoshop or photopea. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Sorry about the confusion. So if you have the matte printer paper like me, you want that side to be printed on. Each printer is different in how they want the paper loaded. I take a normal plain paper draw Top and front side on the paper when I load it, do a test print and see where it prints. If it is printing correctly, then that is how I load the printer with the real vinyl paper. It is kinda crazy to wrap my head around. Let me know if you still need help. Good Luck and thanks for watching.
If you use mod podge on a vinyl sticker it should definitely still come off easily once you get a corner to come up. On the Paper sticker/labels, I'm not sure. With enough soaking or even using some rubbing alcohol it should come off as the cards are very strong , but just a lot more work and elbow grease needed. I can try it on one of my mod podge cards, I just mainly did it to my cards I knew I would keep a long time. Do you have a better way to label your Yoto Cards?

@@samanthawarner8712 I'm currently working on it, the latest I will post it is Sunday, but hoping to have it done before then.

Thanks for sharing! If you use the Mod Podge, does it come off afterward if you want to change the label? Or is it permanent?
