Dude thank you! That means a lot coming from you! Likewise I really enjoy watching your passion when you start describing a whisky you're loving. At the end of the day we're just passionate whisky lovers 😃🥃
Definitely a different whisky. I get loads of esters and lactic notes. I like it but mostly because it is so different from any other Ardbeg I've had. Actually think the same thing about Heavy Vapors. Full disclosure I used to be a huge Ardbeg fan but not anymore. Too much hype over their special releases. Recently had a newer bottling of Ardbeg 10yr and I don't think it compares well to my older bottle. Great review, keep them coming. Cheers!
Always appreciate your input Rob! Yes it is different than general Ardbegs and I suppose that is the USP but if you love Ardneg do you need actually want something different?🤔🤔 I would sign my name under your statement though, I absolutely agree with everything you say. Glad you like my content 😁 Great comments, please keep em coming 😃🥃
@@thewhiskyenthusiast I didn’t try it… kinda given up on the overpriced Ardbegs committee releases and the like. But Whisky Lock enjoyed it…check out his review.
This is actually one of my favorites if not my favorite scotch ive ever tried. I got so many like lemon orange notes and sour mango with tajin with hints of super bitter chocolate, then later I got like a minty rosemary flavor with the taste of like smoked tundra moss? The nose wasnt as complex for me as the palette was I just remember it smelling bright, citrus, slightly ash smoked. It was just such a unique flavor profile as to why its one of my favorites ive ever tried. I only got to try it at a bar but would love to find a bottle somewhere if possible, but highly unlikely lol 😔
Wow what a description! Glad you enjoyed it. I mean if I tried it blind, without knowing the price I think I would enjoy it. It's not bad at all and even though I get angry with Ardbeg for their gimmicks it's nice to try these experiments for educational purposes :) Cheers friend, thanks for joining in 🥃
Beautiful tasting notes and descriptions brother, love how you describe the notes. Painting great visuals 👌
