Evergreen voice of greatness ❤
Very lovely song any time after many years ❤
She was a huge star,
Will be greatly missed.
I came here to get my soul to ground zero.
Chim leeeee...Imela!
Achieved.
Chineke imela 🎉
Rest in peace the woman with the golden voice, the ever elegant queen. You came, you saw and you conquered
Rest in peace Adamazi
Evergreen, thanks for sharing
I could sing this song all the way to heaven🎉. I know it's a traditional Igbo Christian gospel song, but Onyeka had taken it, injected more passion into its rhythm, re-packaged and made it swing. Onyeka, the love of our lives...
She's the original singer
I’m so overjoyed to have this song❤🎉
Evergreen..
Where are all your videos, Onyeka??? Where are the videos for Onye Ga-agba Egwu, One Love, I Have Been to Many Places in the World, The Everly Brothers cover: Walk Right Back, I'm Onto You, Etc.???
Long live Onyeka, speaks after you. EVERGREEN
RIP ?/? nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
😭All nigerians should listen to this song again. These were the times life was fair in this country. In this particular time, in our history the true patriotism within our genes is reverberated again. We've let greed consume our heart. How do we move forward as a nation when the burden of greed and decadence has engulfed our entire psychology and culture😞😟 ##endbadgovernance #nigeriaisoncpr
Egwu eruenụ!
It's time for dance!!!
Thank You Lord 🛐

RIP legend
Evergreen.... Bringing back the memories and sweet melodies of the oldies.
This is the correct and nearest in meaning lyrics to this song from a native igbo speaker. It is not the usual word for word translation I have seen somewhere on youtube. Igbo word to an equivalent english word translation corrupts the essence and values of song's meaning .
Enjoy....
Hallelujah chim le..
(Hallelujah my God)
Jehovah chim e mela...
(Thank you my Jehovah God)
Ebe i gworom oria jim le..
(For healing my sickness)
Agam aturu gi nma nma...
(I will offer you thanksgiving.) Repeat according to the song
E woo nnem le..
(Oh my mother )
Ibu uwa anyigbulam o...
(The burdens of life has weighed me down)
Uru uwa akpucha mu isi...
(Wickedness of life has dealt with me)
Ma ebe nwerem gi chim le...
(So long as I have you my God)
Agam aturugi nma nma...
(I will offer you thanksgiving) repeat accordingly
Ikwu na ibe a lala...
(Family bonds and ties no longer exist)
Ndi enyim akusasia...
(All my friends have deserted me)
Ebe m nwere gi chineke....
(But I still have you almighty God)
Agam aturu gi nma nma...
(I will offer you thanksgiving).
Onye nwem jide nke iji...
(Owner of my life keep up your good work)
Anam ario agbakutalam azu...
(I beg of you, don't turn your back on me)
Chineke jide nke iji...
(Almighty God keep up your good work)
Anam ario agbakutalam azu...
(I beg of you don't turn your back on me)
Egwu erue nu...
(It's time for music or song).
Heard this song in Unixik prescience in 2008 and fell in love. Just remembered it many years after and it's more relevant in my life than ever before
