NTA 2 Channel 5 if you know you know
Yes you are right. When nta 2 channel 5 (Your reach out station) was the number one station in Lagos and Nigeria. Through channel 5, we were able to watch Robinhood, superforce, bright spark, Voltron, Sledge hammer, chucklehound, rentaghost, Jimbo and worldwide wrestling, I just wonder what people outside of Lagos at that time were watching.
I concur
@@todimubayo1783 you are very correct, i remember too
I know
@@todimubayo1783 Tales by moonlight, Checkmate too
Oh my God,...how did we get here in Nigeria? Nigeria was so sweet as a little girl, back then, i always run back home to watch this on national tv most sundays but today, our national stations are dead, even the digital television have nothing to offer.....I truly miss my childhood and all it's fun.
I THANK GOD I'M STILL ALIVE TO WATCH THIS IN 2024 🎉 MAY GOD BLESS OUR HEROS
Onyeka Onwenu was my crush as a teenager -- I was madly in love with her. She is still a class act, an Igbo's daughter to the utmost. May she continue to live for us, her people.
My dad named me after you and today I sing
Who's here April 2024
They don't make music like this anymore. 😪
Oh God... We have lost the values of our culture. Watching this song again after two decades made me recognize the heritage we lost to the Western culture. Onyeka sang english language in a igbo costume. The blend is so kool. Live long Queen !!!!!
This woman resembles my late mother.. growing up I just watch her whenever I miss my mothers face❤❤
This is 2023 and I still can't stop playing this song
I will always remember how happy my mom used to be while singing This song historical fiction.. I'll never forget you.
Thank you so much for putting an unending smile on my mom's face ❤
A young Onyeka Owenu was incredibly beautiful though, with a smile as sly as a fox, exuding so much positive energy as she sings. A Nigerian jewel she is.
Awwwwww
She’s always beautiful and still beautiful
She IS still incredibly beautiful! We need to stop measuring and associating beauty with age.

I feel so nostalgic at the moment, I missed the late 90s, things were so simple and less tangled, well I know it's about perspective, but the 90s were good times

Love you ma see me when I was in my village with radio ❤❤❤
Dear Aunty Onyeka,
You remain one of (if not) my Nigeria's Finest Popstar since my childhood till date! I have loved your music Ma Stallion, for over 3 decades and still do to date despite the extremely cold SNOBBUSH treatment you gave me in 2007 at Nicon Noga Hilton at the Dinner lounge when I first met you and tried to introduce myself and tell you what you had been to me since childhood, and also the next DOSE of the same SNOBBISH blackout I got from you at the Murtala Muhammad Airpor about 4 years later about the first episode (Luckily my friends and fans were not there to witness the 2nd re- embarrassment this time) when I also tried to reintroduce myself again -
But we are all human and no one is perfect so I have to understand...but I'm glad I finally found an avenue to let you know.
I think Musicians are among those few privileged humans that are light-bearers to others and WE may not be aware of the light WE have brought on the paths of others... to snob them, is the least help you can render them in their moment of lucidity meeting their hero/ light bearer...I don't know why I still feel hurt, but I still love and respect you and your music, talent, voice, creativity, etc...God bless you Ma. for all you have been to me, to many others, and the Nigerian Music Industry in general...
I believe it's safer to keep a positive disposition publicly (especially to those that claim they are your fans) with people - because you may not really understand what you have become to others through your gift of music...
I still remain one of your biggest fans to date( Pls I'm only hoping to give you feedback from a fan and nothing more) ...Ndenwo Ma!
Even the bassline of this song has now become Nwatulu Chineke in the Nigerian Catholic church.
God bless and continue to strengthen you with his riches in glory! Amen.
Deep. Thank you
I feel your hurt.
Thank you for being positive and respectful notwithstanding.
Onyeka was and still is a great Nigerian musician, I love her every song plus that of Nelly Uchendu of blessed memory.
This is my childhood. Goosebumps all over me. She is music, she is messenger, she is an icon. Love you lady of songs.
I miss my mother a lot when listening to this track. Keep resting my sweet mother😢😢
