Nearly every guitarist plays a black Sabbath riff on these type of videos. Iommi is a huge icon
He is the original metal riff writer
The point is not being an icon. The point is that Sabbath made some awesome music.
@@GiorgioVerzotto give the man some individual credit tho. lol
"Tony Iommi & Geezer Butler invented metal, the rest of us assholes are just ripping them off for over 25 years. And if a metal guitarist ever tells you, that he hasn´t been copiying Iommi,he´s a lier."
-Dimebag Darrell.
yu know this is like a hard rock and heavy metal channel and tony iommi invented metal lol
Chumlee's metal brother Chuglee
This comment is too underrated😂
Lmfao 😂
😂
love this
Instead of buying thousand dollar Nike's he buys Guitars and equipment
Managed to catch municipal waste for the first time the other night. Man what a show! I was so impressed an hour and a half of pure nonstop thrash madness!
Awesome he showed Razor some love. Now if more people would start talking about Vio-Lence
It's too difficult when you're starting out...
Razor is kinda simple I guess but it’s still ridiculously fast
Vio-Lence is so bad ass. Eternal Nightmare is a great album.
Violent Dirge...
Love vio-lence
He's a great guy! He really is what metal is all about! I ran into him and his band at a rest stop one time when they were touring with Destruction. They were really awesome to meet and as I recall I got a DVD CD off him. Ever since then I have liked his band!
Would have been a good tour with destruction. What I would do to see a show like that 🤙🤘
Municipal waste is my favorite Crossover thrash band because they have the sound of 80s thrash and the singing of 80s thrash and the speed and anger of punk which I love
Damn, that is a nice crunching tone. Nasty, but clear.
also a little on the mid and bass side. not too much treble.
Shame the recording sounds like poo. You can hear the tone underneath it all but it sounds funk as hell.
@@SamiKarvinen the recording sounds good to me? U mean the camera??
Seymour Duncan pickups. I put Invader humbucker in my cheap Ibanez Rx & it's so chunky but still has that treble bite. Underrated.
wtf it sounds like shit lol isnt he uaing that cheap ass marshall mg?
you can see this guys passion for metal and thrash. I wish i had something just like it. its amazing. hes def. not a poser like some high profile guys ive seen.
Have you seen any episodes of his Living Fast show on here? The guy's metal collection is absurdly deep.
@@GonzoCRfan fuhhh. i bet its like the whole wall or room of vinyls. id seen here on utube mentioned but never seen a full episode. i do know that they got a full intervew with razor /m/
I wished that most of this series was more like this,
I agree man. Hew playing alot and rocking out one of the better videos now im a fan of municipal just cause this guy rocks
That War Pigs melody is probably my favorite part of the song, I feel like no one appreciates that part.
Mike Aliberti I share that sentiment! Its the heaviest part of the song for me! We both like Death too so I’m gonna guess you’re a libra
I feel like you're wrong and everyone appreciates that part
mark smith I actually am a libra wtf
Nate Gin I hope
It's my favorite part, but I am an Aquarius.
Looks like Ryan took “Breathe Grease” to heart.
I love bands like this . Old-school heavy thrash sound. Takes me back to the 80S and 90s. I love Municipal Waste
Loved that one more than others. Less talking more riffing. He looks like he thought it through a bit beforehand and was less shy to show it. Plus more obscure stuff than usual.
Perfect thrash metal tone 👌 clear crisp and bright not scooped mids
When he lead off with Electric Eye, I knew his riff choices were gonna be sick! Bonus respect for including Hallow’s Eve and Razor! Waste destroys! \m/ \m/
Ryan was always so cool in person. Had beers with him in Alberta Canada a few different times. Let us on the bus for a couple rips. Humble and hilarious.
Ryan is a beast and the Waste is legendary
There is nothing better than Ryan Waste absolutely shredding for our viewing pleasure.
He has good taste in bands and riffs
Hell yeah! I love playing Razor, they have such kick-ass riffs. \m/
/w\Dude man YO/w\
@@THRASHMETALFUNRIFFS Yo \m/
Best Canadian thrash band
@@TappingDasVein wrong, infernal majesty
One of my favourite guitarists. Super unappreciated
Glad to see some Hallows Eve representation. Super underrated band.
Finally, something metal👊🤘
I literally started learning all the same things when I first started playing guitar.
Finally municipal waste
More thrash
And gear of municipal waste?
Met Ryan a couple of times, super nice dude and a phenomenal thrash guitarist!
I though he was Chum Lee hahahaha. love municipal waste lml
lmao me too
This is Chug Lee
Lol xD
Me too
Chum lee is dead
I gave Ryan a fist bump while crown surfing at there show last November!!!!
This is awesome! I am a struggling lefty guitarist and I've never heard of MW., but damn this gives me inspiration. Got to check out more of their stuff!
Destruction had the coolest riffs ever on that first album/ep
Eternal Devastation too!
Came across MW at FunFunFun Fest in Austin, they're by far the tightest metal band I've ever heard live
Oh yeah, they really are. Couldn't find a single issue is the sets when I saw them. Competes with sets from bigger bands like exodus and megadeth.
Hell yeah 🤘🏻 Invisible force by destruction, great song
Electric funeral was my first song to learn on guitar too, the complete song :)
his best riff by far is bangover, no doubts
Probably my most favorite riff
Mind eraser
The tone is amazing
Glad I was able to meet Ryan pre concert and take a photo. Nice dude.
Good to see destruction in there , def one of the best thrash bands out there and still going too 🤘🍻
"This is me sitting down, just to stand back up" lol This dude is awesome. I'm gonna have to get more Waste
Coming from bass I really liked this video...
Nice seeing a fellow lefty on this series.
We are such a rare breed IMO.
Didn't know Ryan was a bass player first. That actually makes a LOT of sense now. And is also a big reason for Waste's iconic riffs. Also, who doesn't love some good old Sabbath and Priest riffs? 🤘
So one of my favorite Waste riffs the guy wrote in high school
I love Ryan😄dudes so cool. I know gram was feeling out. I remember his hazardous mutation shirt.
my favourite riff is crazy train.. randy rhodes was amazing
Rhoads*
Love any Sabbath riffs
First time I see a lefty metal guitarist cool
Zach slaughter bro
Seriously? Never heard of Iommi?
P.F.H. I meant as in thrash metal guitarist
Razor's "violent restitution" is one of my fav thrash albums ever \../
They played at a festival I attended. Deeply regret going home before their show...
He's a great dancer
Nice, good to see someone really getting into it.
I want to get on Gear Factor one day and play the hell out of my favorite black metal riffs from my favorite bands!
This guy can fuckin tear it up
And I'm out here playing my self written low quality riffs😂😭
DML-_21 we all do :)
Bruh it’s better to play self written songs than to be stuck in a tribute band for the rest of your life
@@TheRomanoLV but idk if they sound anywhere near decent or make any sense
Fam I’m not exactly sure what you’re trying to say here
@@TheRomanoLV like if I write a riff I can't determine if it makes sense or is just complete bs
Kool. Good playing
I saw Razor at Hell's Heroes a few years ago, Bat opened up for them and Ryan did go on stage to sing Behind Bars with them 🤘😈🔥
Fav band ever
Municipal Waste is gonna fuck you up.🤘
Damn, finally razor getting some spot light.
That Guitar Tone Tho
That tone . Fuckin dope
That bangover riff is fucking siiiick!
RW is my spirit animal
Favorite guitarist. 🤘🏼
Ryan and MW... Hello from a fan in India.
Hollows Eve are a a great band, really underrated, they should have been a lot bigger.
Some great choices there, of course Black Sabbath, but good to see Judas Priest and Razor too.
I love this guy
keep killing it dude
Electric eye 🤘🤘
Listen to shotgun justice and it becomes clear that they inspired municipal waste. Even the vocals sound similar.
What a freakin beast
Seen them in Berkeley,hellafun
Very honest guy. MW is one of the best new thrash around.
Mi banda favorita .... todos sus riffs estan bien buenos. Saludos desde mexico.
He played bass before playing the guitar, did u catch that people?
The beginning of Parole Violator is the ray!
Hallows Eve...I loved that band.
I hope they get Ryan waste back on
The first song that ever learned on guitar was Pestilence- Out of Body
That Judas riff was the intro to most metalcore bands lol
Fucking love Municipal Waste, The Last Rager was a super tight EP. They are excellent live as well.
"Cut throat!!"... epic tune
Sweet another lefty!
JAKE KEMPF - oh shit! I didn't notice till you pointed it out.
Yes he know very good thrash métal players
Thanks!
He got a good sound!
Very cool, thanks 😁
That tone
As a lefty myself, This is fucking incredible
That bangover riff badass
When did Ryan switch over to Floyd Rose from Kahler?
Wondering the same thing
What kind if guitars does he play? Theyre all wild lookin
ahh, yes this is where all my melodic influence came from when I write music, Ryan waste
Awesome dude! when he went into Lesson In Violence, I just stripped to the waist!! then Destruction, I jumped off my kitchen table, YEEEEAAAAHHHH!! \m/
Bangover makes me want to learn to play guitar.
How many times does he need to say he used to play bass
Awesome
Great band name
Left handed guitar players! Not to many of us left anymore.
When I first heard Waste I was like "dude I'd really like to be in this band"
Kiss and Black Sabbath appear on almost all of these videos
