I donated to Travis' cause. I want to see this organization endure, grow, and succeed so I can bring my kids into the sport and they can bring their kids into it. That won't happen with the current leadership running it into the ground for their own personal gains.
Bro broke the 11th commandment: "Thou shalt not criticize USPSA". I noticed this when I was active in USPSA matches 5 years ago and I thought it was strange.
Thanks for bringing Travis on Ben. I’ve heard lots of guys talking about legal action against the cabal without realizing what it takes. Looks like this dude is ready to hit it hard. I bet The A2D loves this guy…..😂
Obviously there is a significant lack of internal controls at USPSA, outside of any legal issues or violations. Glad to see what Travis and Pat Brown are doing.
This sounds like a step in the right direction but any lawsuit that doesn't require the sitting board to step down and a new board to be elected is bound to fail in my opinion. Like Ben said... they can just ignore the Bylaws per usual. I guess this really depends on the recall mechanisms put in place to hold them accountable.
Has anyone considered the possibility whistleblower lawsuits? Retaliation for pointing out problems with the organization is prohibited under federal and state laws I believe. Just something else to consider when revising bylaws or possible litigation.
It's kind of heart warming to see that mismanagement and political bull-%$#@ exists at the top levels of all sport shooting organizations in all countries, and not just here in SA.
At over 20k as of now. There is a board member shooting the European Handgun Championship. I'd like to know if USPSA paid for that. I know a guy who went on his own dime.
I’m not saying you’re wrong but can you provide a citation to the applicable Delaware statute(s) that authorizes members to vote off board members? The only authority I’m aware of is the USPSA bylaws but I’d like to know what you know.
So if a special meeting was adjourned, and a majority vote was recorded from members for several board members to resign, you believe they could simply disregard that member action? I’m not gonna scan case law but I’d hypothesize failure to action that majority vote warrants consequences, don’t you agree? Members have different rights than shareholders agreed; and directors of 501 (c) 3 are not immune from consequences of misconduct. To this end, a complaint can be filed with state where the charter is recorded as they are not operating within code of conduct within their charter. Also a complaint could be submitted to IRS to investigate their compliance with accounting procedures for nonprofits.
If this lawsuit stops 300lb diabetic FUDS from DQ’ing competent and safe shooters for no reason, I am in.

That’s young man is putting his money where is his mouth is. A quality that is absent population now adays
Wow, I appreciate Travis for spear heading this. I will not re-assign as a uspsa member until they get things right. I'm in.
Thanks for getting things started. I donated.

I am at 13:48 and can’t quite figure out… is this supposed to be a lawsuit by members for members?
Has anyone considered the possibility whistleblower lawsuits? Retaliation for pointing out problems with the organization is prohibited under federal and state laws I believe. Just something else to consider when revising bylaws or possible litigation.
This guy should be president of USPSA.
I got to know… where can I buy the DA/SA t shirt!?

21:58 yup money talks here in anyyyyyyyyyy org here.
We coming!
Post a link with the complaint.
Did USPSA promise clubs some benefits or a bonus program for member signups?
My local clubs are pushing membership drives right now.
How do we see the current bylaws?
The rebellion
Woah.
This is good news.
If they are a Delaware corp, a majority vote from members can vote off board members for breach of duty.

That’s the second time I posted that - my first response was deleted.. Very suspicious…
Look up title 8, section 141, subsection K. I keep trying to post the link and its getting deleted…
@@wmetzler01 USPSA is a 501(c)(3) with no shareholders. This statute does not apply.
