City of Galveston: CCC LET2 Mini Heil Rapid Rail Garbage Truck

While in the Houston area for spring break, one city we decided to check out was Galveston. Here is one of the department’s mini Rapid Rails collecting beach houses on the Monday route. This route is primarily dead ends and small sections so this truck is used here every week. The driver has been doing this route for more than a decade and has lots of experience under his belt. I’ve always liked Galveston’s green paint scheme and the city is filled with primarily EVR1s which is pretty neat too. Galveston’s fleet is mainly heil and they also run Mack Pythons that also sport this green paint scheme. Enjoy!

I would love to see more from this municipality. You say they are beach properties, but where is the beach? The homes do look interesting, looking like tall beach houses lol I could not imagine seeing this in person, looks a little odd lol.

I have another video from my trip there and DFW Refuse has some as well. These houses and streets were right along the beach, you can see it the best at 6:06. The houses here are definitely pretty interesting

I like the trucks Galveston has! They also have Amreps. I think this truck was made around 2022-2023, when CCC started making Battle trucks.

You should do a video in Gordon’s grove over on the far west side off of Potranco and Tally road our trash days are Monday and Thursday we have both waste solutions and tiger sanitation waste solutions trash and recycling pick up is on Monday and just trash pick up is on Thursday and tiger sanitation’s trash pick up is on Monday and Thursday and recycling pick up is every other Thursday
