Had the same problem on a Echo PB-251. Tried all recommended problem fix with no results. Changed carburetor, spark plug, all tubes, fuel filter and vent filter. It still ran for a short time and then bogged down and stopped. I found that if I cracked the fuel cap it would start running fine again. Checked the vent and it seem to be working correctly. I decided to crack open the vent valve and trim the flapper in the vent valve and it works great now. I know that isn't the correct thing to do, but you need to do what ever it takes to get the job done.
Been running my blower pretty solid for a couple years having a few issues with it rebuilt the carb was kind of working better followed this tutorial my screen looked like s*** but I also blow roofs and gutters so I guess it depends on what kind of environment you're working in.. so yeah aside from my shity grammar that's green can get plugged so this video is very informative and helpful thank you

I would rather see it on a used machine. Not swapping out new for new. Just my .02
Weird, I always hear this but in 20 years never had one clog.
Awesome! It worked!
