Doesn’t the series s have a HDMI in for entertainment stuff like the Xbox one did? If so, you could use that, but you’d need a monitor if you wanted to see OBS and your game. Can always jump in our discord

I have a question about cloud bot. My question is, does cardboard work with Twitch only or, does it work with TH-cam as well? My reason for asking is because I am a visually impaired streamer and I use both services. One thing I have on twitch is wise, bought along with nightbot for moderating my check. One thing I like about Weisbart is when someone follows it tells me out loud, using the PS fives screen reader, who followed as well as what person is chatting and what they say. I was wondering if cloud bought what do the same thing for me on TH-cam or not? I’m also curious, would I have to pay to sign up for stream labs and to get cloud box, set up if it does work in the same way for TH-cam. In short, you need a streaming PC with (what I’d recommend) either a couple of capture cards or possibly the cam link pro. Depending on the layout of the house and if the consoles are in different rooms, you might need two PCs and can send one feed with cam/game/audio over NDI to the streaming PC. I think this warrants a dedicated video. Thoughts?

Capture card is to connect your console to a streaming software to have custom overlays and such added on in that software. Something like Lightstream removes this need, but still isn't as full featured as doing it through OBS and using a computer to stream. The mini PC is if you want to start streaming using a capture card with your console and streaming through a program like OBS. It's a cheap alternative to building a full fledged PC and can be a practical way to get into more advanced looking streams.

Hey. I just streamed my first video on twitch last night. I setup overlay expert extension and it worked great during the live stream. But idk why it won't show my overlays when I go back to watch the stream. Is there a way to do this or does it only do the overlay while live and then take it off once you're done live streaming?

I want to stream I have watched ur other video a while back and set up the overlay but I still have issue with the brb and starting soon screen shortcuts key commands not working or do they only when u start the live. can I start streaming without a webcam and I haven’t talked on mic much in the few streams I have done because there is no one there watching I only have 10 followers and probably bots and a few family members?? Is that important in the beginning? I like to play Red dead online and was going to just mess around on there to get used to streaming. What do u think? PS5 doesn’t support any other camera except their camera. If you use a computer to encode your stream, you can use Camo Studio to use your phone as a webcam!
yh the video was helpful but there is nothing about what i need the most about streaming console via PC, the audio. What do you need to make your chat hear you, the game and you're party, and how con you hear the alerts ecc while ur using a headset for the game/party

If you want to hear alerts, you’ll have to connect it to the PC and hear your game sound through the capture software. They make USB sound cards that are inexpensive if you need one. Also, if you just need to split the cable out to a headphone/mic cable, they make y adapters also

For easy results, stream it all to twitch with your headset mic and gameplay. Then just be intentional about the stream. Interact with your viewers, but make sure to pause after statements so you can trim out the fat for a tutorial. Careful here, you only get 14 or 60 days to archive your footage depending on your account. You can go make a highlight of any stream and just make it full length to keep it forever on twitch. Then download it to your phone and edit/upload if you don’t have a pc

That would work. Just use display capture or window capture, but I will say. I have another mini pc video coming out really soon, so you might want to check that video out as I’ll be doing more intense streaming tests
Question about the mini pc. Elgato capture cards and most I’ve seen usually require you to have a dedicated graphics card. Are you able to run an elgato on the mini pcs? I didn’t seem to have a graphics card.
You don’t need a dedicated graphics card for a capture card. Most processors have integrated graphics, and the chip in this pc does. I ran 2 capture cards at one time off a mini pc. A cam link and a Hd60s. Both from elgato
@@DarkenedCyrus Apparently they dpnt have the S on Elgatos site anymore. They only have the x and s+. For the x for example it says you need a Nvidia geforce gtx 10xx or better. It all depends on frame rate expectations. If you want 1080p 60fps, you might want to think of a more dedicated rig. Simple 1080p 30fps or 720p 60fps? Will do great. Here's a more updated option for the same price. amzn.to/3ztg8AS
can confirm that my hyperX headset has a good-ish sounding mic (7/10 at the VERY least) i was using a usb mic near my AC and my viewers could hear it, but then i had encoding issues and wanted to relieve stress from my computer so i thought to unplug the mic and use the headphone mic and it literally sounds so much better, wish i wouldve been using this mic until i can afford a really good microphone but better late than never lol
"finals thoughts" made me sub, i was told to "just start streaming" on new years day when i asked a streamer on HOW i should start, so on january 2nd i went and bought a 24 in TV from the pawn shop to use as a monitor along with my macbook that i already had for music purposes. i started streaming on the 3rd and streamed literally everyday since, grew almost 250 followers, had like 70 subs at a point and it wouldnt have happened if i didnt "just start" this is a great video, i hope anybody needing this information comes across it and i wish you lots of success, thank you.

The capture card won’t pass through 144hz unless it supports high refresh. Make sure you take the time to look at the specs of your card to make sure it supports the pass through you need.
Here’s a question, I am in Australia and run a e sports league with commentators on streams. If we have commentators in different locations logging into a central PSN accounts what the best way to get overlays etc. if I use a capture card on my end, it wouldn’t work on their end - can you help? i recommend the MOANO au--pm421 its a USB microphone and costs around 50 pounds. the sound quality is great and you can mute/unmute with the touchscreen button on the mic (you can also change how loud it is with the knob) the only downside is that it doesnt work with xbox. Please could you tell me some microphones that are compatible with xbox that has decent quality and is affordable. Thank you P.S very good and helpful video
Hey Man it's me again! I have a little question to you!. Do you know why my MiraBox has desynchro audio and video on stream? I see in StreamLabs OBS that audio should be ok with video but on stream is deschynchronized. I use MiraBox to capture my Xbox Series S. On my PC I use NVENC codec to stream.
If it is fine in Streamlabs but off on stream, that’s an encoder problem, not the capture card. Might have some settings that are impacting your audio timing adjusted in a weird way.

It only works when live through overlay expert. Glad things worked well when love though!

Question about the mini pc. Elgato capture cards and most I’ve seen usually require you to have a dedicated graphics card. Are you able to run an elgato on the mini pcs? I didn’t seem to have a graphics card.
You don’t need a dedicated graphics card for a capture card. Most processors have integrated graphics, and the chip in this pc does. I ran 2 capture cards at one time off a mini pc. A cam link and a Hd60s. Both from elgato
@@DarkenedCyrus Apparently they dpnt have the S on Elgatos site anymore. They only have the x and s+. For the x for example it says you need a Nvidia geforce gtx 10xx or better. So... i can just ignore this if i want a mini pc? Do you know what those requirements are for then if they arent actually neeed? I just dont want to buy a mini pc and then have issues streaming.

To record the a roll? It’s been so long at this point. It was either the Sony a5100 or the Sony ZVE10. Can’t remember the exact date I upgraded. Either way, the lens is the Sigma 16mm f1.4

Hey! This is a pretty late comment but i’m really looking into getting that mini pc, i have an elgato hd60s. Will that work fine with streaming my xbox and will there be any issues like frame dropping on streamlabs?
It all depends on frame rate expectations. If you want 1080p 60fps, you might want to think of a more dedicated rig. Simple 1080p 30fps or 720p 60fps? Will do great. Here's a more updated option for the same price. amzn.to/3ztg8AS
Can u use a mini pc with a laptop for enhancements
can confirm that my hyperX headset has a good-ish sounding mic (7/10 at the VERY least) i was using a usb mic near my AC and my viewers could hear it, but then i had encoding issues and wanted to relieve stress from my computer so i thought to unplug the mic and use the headphone mic and it literally sounds so much better, wish i wouldve been using this mic until i can afford a really good microphone but better late than never lol
"finals thoughts" made me sub, i was told to "just start streaming" on new years day when i asked a streamer on HOW i should start, so on january 2nd i went and bought a 24 in TV from the pawn shop to use as a monitor along with my macbook that i already had for music purposes. i started streaming on the 3rd and streamed literally everyday since, grew almost 250 followers, had like 70 subs at a point and it wouldnt have happened if i didnt "just start" this is a great video, i hope anybody needing this information comes across it and i wish you lots of success, thank you.

If i game at 144 hrtz does the capture card at 60 hrtz effect what im seeing at home? I have a series x
The capture card won’t pass through 144hz unless it supports high refresh. Make sure you take the time to look at the specs of your card to make sure it supports the pass through you need.

If we have commentators in different locations logging into a central PSN accounts what the best way to get overlays etc. if I use a capture card on my end, it wouldn’t work on their end - can you help? i recommend the MOANO au--pm421 its a USB microphone and costs around 50 pounds. the sound quality is great and you can mute/unmute with the touchscreen button on the mic (you can also change how loud it is with the knob) the only downside is that it doesnt work with xbox. Please could you tell me some microphones that are compatible with xbox that has decent quality and is affordable. Thank you

Hey Man it's me again! I have a little question to you!. Do you know why my MiraBox has desynchro audio and video on stream? I see in StreamLabs OBS that audio should be ok with video but on stream is deschynchronized. I use MiraBox to capture my Xbox Series S. On my PC I use NVENC codec to stream.
If it is fine in Streamlabs but off on stream, that’s an encoder problem, not the capture card. Might have some settings that are impacting your audio timing adjusted in a weird way.

Hey! One more question. Do you recommend use YUY2 or MJPEG profile with MiraBox?
YUY2 will have better results, but more lag. MJPEG will be faster, but won’t be as clear.
