Thank you for these videos. I just hiked a 100 mile section from White Pass to Crest Camp and your videos helped me replan my mileage per day. There was no way I could have averaged 20 miles a day through Goat Rocks. Cheers!
New to your channel. Awesome photography! I’ve subscribed. I understand you don’t have time to reply. I’m wondering how you handle the cougar and bear concerns? I love to hike but find myself crippled with fear of these two predators…. I’m so impressed with your adventure!!
Thanks for subscribing! I think the more you get out in nature the more comfortable you get with your surroundings. Start off with popular trails. Trails you know you will see other people. Increase your mileage/time the more you feel comfortable. If you have concerns and if it helps with your peace of mind, it is smart to carry bear spray with you. Just learn how to use it. Also, lots of resources online what to do if you do encounter wildlife. Hope that helps!
Beautiful! I am a Washingtonian living in Maine but want to thru hike the Wa section next year! This video was awesome and inspired me even more. Thank you for taking the time to create it. ❤
Cool video, thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Glad you found it helpful! Happy trails :)

Your sun hoodie looks very comfy; will share its make & model? Thx
I love mine, it’s the Outdoor Research Echo sun hoodie. They often run sales on them in the spring and fall.
I was about a week behind you. I went pct sobo last year
Treated to orange orbs out there? Adams, Indian Heaven?

1:34 is there a specific trailhead for this section? I tried looking on AllTrails but there’s so many different pct trails! 😅
After the short road walk, I accessed the trail via Clear Creek Trailhead.
@@karahikes awesome, thank you

Spectacular! Thanks for sharing this beautiful hike. Fun to dream about summer hikes during a big Sierra winter storm in March. Cheers!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Is your tent an REI Quarter Dome SL1? If not, it sure looks like it.
It is!
@@karahikes I have one too (that's why I could recognize it). Ijust wish the vestibule was bigger.
I camped at the same spot your first night, but in September. Simply beautiful.
It really is!
