Lake Maggiore is a gorgeous lake in northern Italy. There are many picturesque towns that line its shores such as the one we stayed in, Stresa. The main attractions of the Lake are the Borromean Islands Isola Madre, Isola Bella and Isola Pescatori. We also took a trip on the gondola up Mottarone to visit Alpyland and to ride the roller-coaster! I highly highly recommend trying this out =)

I have seen Lake Garda and Lake Como and I found both of them really beautiful . This one also looks so beautiful . Roller Coaster ride would have been super fun . You are staying on that beautiful island wow .

I just love Italy. I've been to Lake Garda and Caldanazo but not to Lake Maggiore. We will defnitely include it on our itinerary in one of our trips down south. And like you say it is just amazing to end the day with the best food that Italy has to offer.

Ooh, I've only been to cities or beaches in Italy, never even heard of this lake! I love the cinematic intro and the cable car shot, I'm never patient enough to stay in one spot like that. Your drone shots over the lake are really sweet and ending the day with wine sounds absolutely perfect! Thanks for sharing :)

Thanks guys! We were going to go to Lake Como but decided to check this one out instead because we thought it would be quieter haha...turns out its just as busy!
Omg I was in that exact gondola. And at the end you go over a giant cliff. Well, I was in there when a huge storm blew over northern Italy. The same storm that blew over that huge bridge.... also, lightning. The power cut right when I was in the middle of that cliff! It only took 10 minutes for the power to go back on but it felt like hours. The gondola was swinging hard! Also did I mention that I have a fear of heights?
Really lovely filmed and I really liked the editing at the beginning part! My favourite thing though was definitely the slide going down the hill that looked awesome!!

I know right!? No matter where we went in Italy there was a town built in a crazy place, in a lake, on the side of a mountain, on a cliff, the italians dont care haha!
