Literally almost a 2:3 ratio when the kill times and bullet usage are almost 1:1. This isn't the Vector vs Tommy Gun bro

The ace32 is now my favorite gun. I always run m4 + slr because i couldnt handle the beryl, but now i can run ace32 + slr, i dont have to bring 2 kind of ammo anymore.
I've always loved the M4 but the ACE seems like a decent contender. The only real thing holding me back from picking the ACE up a lot of the time is how heavy 7.62 ammo is compared to 55. Then again, having the same ammo type for both primary and secondary's would be nice if you like to have a bolt action too.

I get this all the time from randoms "oh man no I don't use assault rifles I use the UMP and a bolt action, I'm a total laser, the UMP is amazing" etc etc. Gets sat by an enemy in the first gunfight, has a 0.6kd. SMGs are great up close and can be used at mid ranges with some effectiveness, but nothing is going to beat an assault rifle for versatility, plus the Beryl will absolutely shit on a UMP up close. Bolts are great for public games where noobs stand still for long periods of time, but DMRs are way superior hence them being used in competitive play over bolt actions at high levels. An SLR headshot does ridiculous damage and the mini can kill someone at 300m so quickly relatively easily even if they are moving... You aren't hitting bolty shots easily against decent players.
You have not mentioned ammunition type. 100 shots of 7.62 takes the same space in your backpack as 140 shots of 5.56. Example: generally you want 150 extra ammo in your bag (at least). 150 7.62mm takes up 105 capacity, 150 5.56 takes up 75 which leaves you room for 2 smoke grenades, or almost 1 smoke 1 frag.
I generally only carry around 80-100rds, just a couple reloads worth. Leaves you more room for throwables/heals. You can always loot back up your ammo reserves after the kill.
I usually want 125-150, just in case you end up in a clutch spot and need the ammo. But recently I've been playing more aggressively, and you can always get more ammo of the enemies. In a lot of situations, having more throwables can save your life, and help you win more than the extra ammo.
@@ActualCoverage You’re correct, dropping a reload worth of ammo for a stun/molotov each has proven to be more valuable in a “push/hold” scenario when you get close quarters. If you have distance you can generally disengage and loot for ammo if you’ve wasted it popping shots across distance in a sniper battle. My KDR for the last year or so has stayed above 6 and up to nearly 12 each “season”. I attribute that directly to playing super aggressively in solos, carrying more throwables, and taking “crazy” shots since sometimes you’ve only gotta hit one. I’ve only got a little over 800hrs in PUBG but my play style has certainly evolved from the Duo/Squad days of Early Access to the Solo days after all my buddies gave up on the game over the years.
@@BoostFiend_Bud Spot on. That's why I love PUBG, it's so technical, every aspect of the game allows you to make your own decisions. There aren't any exploits which can be abused. E.g. SLR & MK14 powerful weapons overall, but you can take them both out with one HS from a Kar98 or a Mosin. My general advice, is to throw yourself in the deep end i.e. hotdrop, you will learn fast. And play TDM as much as you can using the different weapons and attachments for practice.
It's tricky..M4: Easy to use all round Beryl: Shreds and can win easily up close (if you can control it) Ace: Sweet spot, as you said. My opinion: More weapons please :) Some British weapons would be great, such as the SA80 bullpup rifle, an old British Enflied rifle to use as a bolt action sniper, also the American M1 grand.
for me it depends mostly on the setup I want to run in the end. If I go Bold/7.6DMR I prefere the ACE, if I go Mini I stick with the M416 to stay with one ammo type.

I like the ACE, but I've found the horizontal recoil to be a bit random. It misses in sprays that I can't quite quantify, somewhat like the Scar for me. The M4 still feels far easier to control.

For me controlling the ACE is so much harder than BERYL in CQB situations - this gun has less vertical recoil than BERYL, but additional and significant horizontal recoil to it… what makes this gun really hard to control because it bounces on the screen and you can clearly tell it, cause the horizontal recoil is harder to compensate. What’s really funny is I have an impression that ACE’S recoil is easier to control without attachments- of course in some situations, not always.
Same my sens "800" DPI is mainly for using beryl and m4 so when i use the ace it just feels weird i can use a 6x 4x and a 3x on almost all guns expect the ACE sometimes unless its fully kitted but other than that it feels weird to use but ill get used to it im not pussy LUL
I knew just from playing that there was something I liked about the ace. Looks like a good middle ground between the two. One of my most used AR's with the M24 sniper.
As a berryl main the Ace horizontal pattern feels worse to be honest in Real fights. I still keep preferrin Berryl over any AR and if i cant find one i go to the old classic AK till i find a Berryl.
Great Video. Although I do think your analysis is missing something. It depends what how you play and how far you typically spray at things vs switching to your long range weapon. For a close up fight you are probably looking at Beryl > ACE > M416 but if you are spraying something at ~100M... suddenly the time to kill for the M416 becomes almost exactly the same as the Beryl (L2 gear) ... and of course because of the faster bullet speed and better controllability you are more than probably going to kill people much quicker at range.... So at range the chart switches to M416 > ACE > Beryl. Beryl is a better combo for a DMR, M416 is a better combo for a sniper. ACE just pretty much sits in the middle and is a pretty good compromise (but probably better to be paired with the DMR). Thoughts?

i dont know why but every time i use ACE, i got so much horizontal recoil which is unmanageable after around the 10th bullet. in many cases thats why i lose in a mid range fight when using ACE. But in your video i almost dont see any horizontal recoil ....
Why not compare with the angled or half grip? You can pull down more and you'd have the benefit of less horizontal recoil. Yes, I know you have to pull down perfectly strait but at least horizontal recall would be reduced the most.
I started this game late last year, been taking buddies advice on weapons, recenrly switched and began practicing with the ACE32 and thr M24 and have turned my game around. More consistent with the ace all around. Glad to find something that supports my assessment lol

That 1 dmg does make a difference as we have seen already when it comes to almost trading and of course ping has to be a variable but i think for most the ace is a great gun the m4 is a laser nothing more nothing less consistent, reliable, and semi versatile with a 6x or scope spray in general.
Would be cool to see a practical test of how fast it is to kill a guy at different distances. The best gun might depend on the map, from close combat to long.

Honestly, I still prefer the M416 to the others. I run by the Beryl every single time. The Ace is good but if I have a 5.56 gun already, I'm not picking up a 7.62 gun. Running with a single ammo type is always best.... in most cases anyway. But listen to me, I'm not even a level 400 yet.
Wacky another awesome analysis video between the meta Assault Rifles! I could never control the Beryl well but the M416 was always my go-to when getting kitted out. When I can play again, I'll be using the Ace for sure! Thanks a lot for these videos!
I think the fact that m416 is almost the same in the action and the combination of m416+mini14 requires less space in the backbag and gives you more to carry granades is just gamechanger. Couple of years it was a nonfactor, but now its just too important to have enough granades to win a fight as an average skill level of Pubg players have gone hugh makes it still the best option. If you are playing m416 +Bolt, then its just really op to have 4 granades instead of 2, + 2 molotovs+flashbanga and smokes, while for a 7.72 player its just one or two nades less. So to sum it up. 5.56 is just for those types of players who are more versatile in their fighta and use nades effectively to win the fights and 7.72 is for those who rely on their aim and recoil control more than the nade theowing skills.
I very much like a (mixed) Dual Setup of all the mentioned weapons, most favour still goes to 2x M416. BUT, and I say this for the purpose I am using the weapons, a ACE32 is even better in VERY close combat, an BERYL is maybe a bit harder to control, but has even more effectivity in close combat, IF you aim at least as well as with the ACE32. The M416 combines the close combat abilities of these two others, and the mid-range of lets say a M164A, or even a Mini14 (I LOVE the Mini14) or other. All in one, the M416 is more versatile, maybe lacks quick responses in close combat, and may not be the most ideal choice for mid-range (4x) Combat, so always keep the attachments in view, which can optimize it alot on what you're looking for. M416 works very well wenn you're used to it in both close and midrange enviroments. Or it just may be the best in all the mentioned scenarios.
Hey whats your opinion on the QBZ? Would you support its addition to erangel, Miramar etc.? I think its by far time to get "all guns all maps", just love the qbz. Thanks for the comparison
actually qbz is one of the easiest weapons to handle. just a comp / vertical and this gun is lazer with very good damage output... idk why ppl dont use it. whenever i play on sanhok i always see Ace/M4/berryl and not a single qbz...

I'm glad this confirms what I've felt when playing with the ace, I felt it was basically a mix of m4 and the beryl, or an easier to control beryl, the beryl is so difficult to control, but I've been able to control the ace pretty easily.
Play with akm for a while youll handle beryl easy enough, well now you have all attachment 7,62 rifle so no need but before ace beryl was slightly nerfed groza
I think the M416 is better due to the fact that ammo weighs less, allowing you to carry more supplies and ammo. Higher bullet velocity and faster reload speed could be life or death.

I did a few stat, recoil, fire rate tests just by ear and eye between the ars and ace was the one I came up with. The sound from distance was something I didn't test but means a lot. Sick vid dude.
I like to run a 2x on my m4. I find doing that on the ace it has a little too much back and forth horizontal to control it quite as well. I'm not afraid to pick up the ace but find I still prefer the m4.

Do love the ace but I play alot of solo vs squad and by far the mk12 and m249 is my go to. As long as I'm prone and see you or shoot first it's all over.
Ace is a greta weapon. Im often use it for close range, while i using m416 with x6 to spraysnipe. ;) but somehow i dont like beryl. Very difficult to me to control.
For once, you made a video I don't find true through personal experience. The Ace is terrible to control, and the time to kill seems to be even slower than the M416. And the main reason I don't pick up the ACE, is just how loud it is. I don't know how you got the sound levels, but firing the gun, it is deafening.
In Pubg accuracy is everything. The Beryl may be stronger but that doesn't mean shit if you can't score hits. Really it's all preference. I think I'm better off being able to fire accurately. Accurate fire makes the enemy duck or die. When they duck the rest of your squad can flank. So getting hits is not EVERYTHING either. I prefer fighting at distance. So the m416 is the way to go.

Sa80/L85A3 is on the other PUBG, New State. It may arrive to Battlegrounds

One of the main benefits of the Gallil is that it is in 7.62, and will share ammo with your sniper/DMR. No need to carry and collect 5.56 and 7.62.
That's why they added the Mk12 though. It has made for a solid 5.56 option that compares fairly well to the SLR.

100% agree, ace sucks mid to long range. The recoil patterns should also be tested at 3 distances. Short mid long.
I pick it up on top of bootcamp and laser kids straight away across the camp

I think I'm going to stick with the fully kitted M416, as its recoil is much easier to control, and it's very easy to consistently hit enemy vehicles.
ace is way better lol and since most of us carry sks,slr,kar, carrying same ammo is way better

Thanks for this. I use the ump45 a lot but lately have started using the ace32 and I find it to be a great gun. Easy to control and I'm getting more kills with it. 👍
So for me ACE wins... i regularly play it with an oblique sight and its so amazing in mid or close range.
That 1 dmg does make a difference as we have seen already when it comes to almost trading and of course ping has to be a variable but i think for most the ace is a great gun the m4 is a laser nothing more nothing less consistent, reliable, and semi versatile with a 6x or scope spray in general.
Great breakdown, been loving the ACE! Honestly never knew about the crouched recoil % difference for different ARs. Seems odd

the majority of ARs have 0.84 of crouching recoil modifier. Beryl and Mutant have 0.88.

Would be cool to see a practical test of how fast it is to kill a guy at different distances. The best gun might depend on the map, from close combat to long.
Great breakdown. But I do feel ACE is harder to control because of more shakiness in the view when firing in ADS
Use an angled grip. The horizontal recoil is the hardest to control.

@@JOEL00111 I do. I prefer it even on Beryl. I find vertical recoil the easiest to control. Getting rid of diagonal right-left spraying is super helpful.

Yep. ACE quickly became my favorite non crate assault rifle.
Honestly, I still prefer the M416 to the others. I run by the Beryl every single time. The Ace is good but if I have a 5.56 gun already, I'm not picking up a 7.62 gun. Running with a single ammo type is always best.... in most cases anyway. But listen to me, I'm not even a level 400 yet.
M4 is still the best.

I could never control the Beryl well but the M416 was always my go-to when getting kitted out.

I think the fact that m416 is almost the same in the action and the combination of m416+mini14 requires less space in the backbag and gives you more to carry granades is just gamechanger. Couple of years it was a nonfactor, but now its just too important to have enough granades to win a fight as an average skill level of Pubg players have gone hugh makes it still the best option. If you are playing m416 +Bolt, then its just really op to have 4 granades instead of 2, + 2 molotovs+flashbanga and smokes, while for a 7.72 player its just one or two nades less.
So to sum it up. 5.56 is just for those types of players who are more versatile in their fighta and use nades effectively to win the fights and 7.72 is for those who rely on their aim and recoil control more than the nade theowing skills.
I very much like a (mixed) Dual Setup of all the mentioned weapons, most favour still goes to 2x M416.
BUT, and I say this for the purpose I am using the weapons, a ACE32 is even better in VERY close combat, an BERYL is maybe a bit harder to control, but has even more effectivity in close combat, IF you aim at least as well as with the ACE32. The M416 combines the close combat abilities of these two others, and the mid-range of lets say a M164A, or even a Mini14 (I LOVE the Mini14) or other.
All in one, the M416 is more versatile, maybe lacks quick responses in close combat, and may not be the most ideal choice for mid-range (4x) Combat, so always keep the attachments in view, which can optimize it alot on what you're looking for.
M416 works very well wenn you're used to it in both close and midrange enviroments. Or it just may be the best in all the mentioned scenarios.

Lightweight Grip and Stock on ACE is really good. If no attachment, I'll use AK and manual burst 2-3 shot each.

actually qbz is one of the easiest weapons to handle. just a comp / vertical and this gun is lazer with very good damage output... idk why ppl dont use it. whenever i play on sanhok i always see Ace/M4/berryl and not a single qbz...

QBZ is better than the M4 IMO.

Agre. The Ace is the first AR I feel good using. And with 7 bulits on DMR/SR, and a revolver for driving you only need 1 type of amo 👍🤠
I'm glad this confirms what I've felt when playing with the ace, I felt it was basically a mix of m4 and the beryl, or an easier to control beryl, the beryl is so difficult to control, but I've been able to control the ace pretty easily.
Play with akm for a while youll handle beryl easy enough, well now you have all attachment 7,62 rifle so no need but before ace beryl was slightly nerfed groza

@wackyjack101, you should also factor in range…. With the m4’s increased velocity, factoring in range will prove m4 is king
Beryl is the King if you know to control recoil and use the gun.
Pros and cons. M4 easier to control long distance but beryl harder.
Rate of fire is definitely the key for this comparison , beryl is for early game and m4 is for general for me.

I think the M416 is better due to the fact that ammo weighs less, allowing you to carry more supplies and ammo. Higher bullet velocity and faster reload speed could be life or death.
No matter how damage the gun can produce as long as you have good aim all gun is good :D

Beryl with attachments is best at close to medium. I only prefer ACE over M416 because of shared ammo with sniper.

Video suggestion for you: could you talk about your nvidia settings? And do you use the nvidia filter tool (alt+f3) for colors, sharpening and so on to improve the game?
I did a few stat, recoil, fire rate tests just by ear and eye between the ars and ace was the one I came up with. The sound from distance was something I didn't test but means a lot. Sick vid dude.

You sum it up in the first 30 sec, Beryl has the most damage and the quickest time to kill.
Mutant is for me the best by far... Tapping single shots are amazing.

I like to run a 2x on my m4. I find doing that on the ace it has a little too much back and forth horizontal to control it quite as well. I'm not afraid to pick up the ace but find I still prefer the m4.

It also depends what you have you vertical multi-player sensitivity at to and how easy it is for u to control recoil by pulling on right stick on console

Do love the ace but I play alot of solo vs squad and by far the mk12 and m249 is my go to. As long as I'm prone and see you or shoot first it's all over.
Ace is a greta weapon. Im often use it for close range, while i using m416 with x6 to spraysnipe. ;) but somehow i dont like beryl. Very difficult to me to control.
For once, you made a video I don't find true through personal experience. The Ace is terrible to control, and the time to kill seems to be even slower than the M416. And the main reason I don't pick up the ACE, is just how loud it is. I don't know how you got the sound levels, but firing the gun, it is deafening.

In Pubg accuracy is everything. The Beryl may be stronger but that doesn't mean shit if you can't score hits. Really it's all preference. I think I'm better off being able to fire accurately. Accurate fire makes the enemy duck or die. When they duck the rest of your squad can flank. So getting hits is not EVERYTHING either. I prefer fighting at distance. So the m416 is the way to go.
