I love how easy, effortlessly looking recipes you prepare. They are all packed with flavors and not intimidating for people watching think that I cannot do this. ❤
I'm trying this today😀 - - - - update - - - - - - Very very good recipe!! On mine I added courgette/zucchini, and basil instead of sage 🤤 Brilliant!! The wife and kid just loved it. Thanks. Keep up the good work
For the food police who just have to be snarky over the stupidest things, the word "lasagna" means flat sheet of pasta, which Jamie used in this dish. The plural "lasagne" refers to the classic layered dish we all know and love.
Again the beauty of recorded videos. He added a totally dirty pan into the oven, outside and at the edges. And like magic, when lasagna is ready, the pan is totally clean, outside and on the edges too! Wow! The oven not only cooks but starts cleaning the dishes for you! Amazing!
Delicious! I agree totally about aubergines, there's been a convention in British cooking that said aubergine MUST be salted, which of course works if you're doing certain Greek recipes, moussaka or maybe the delicious aubergine dip melinsalsalata, where you want a type of softness, but like with parsnips there's more than one way to skin a vegetarian cat.. Nice one Jamie! 🌟👍
All my favorite Italian flavors and ingredients! I may add a few dollops of ricotta cheese right before baking. Thank you, Jamie! Your sauce would also be delicious with linguini. Yum!! ❤
Genius! Love Aubergines, will be making very soon! What I love about Jamie Oliver is that he makes such delicious recipes with such simplicity that just anyone follow and make and be called a super cook!
It doesn't matter if it's a dirty pan. Just try and eat. I am a fan of Jamie since 20 Jears now. Everything what he cook you can do it at home and you will have a delicious resolt
Jamie❤ could You pleace give us more details about the salad that salad on beautiful white plate IS wonderful can You make it 4 us what are the ingredience??? 💢🌱🌿☘️
Simple. Because they are not real chefs and skimp on kitchen utensils. Quality cookware will last for decades if you take good care of it. Jamie use nonstick ceramics, coz he is a Chef.
Non-stick material has completely changed in the last few years. It’s no longer that flaky Teflon stuff. You can use metal utensils with them and they don’t become damaged. I’m not even sure of the technology. It almost feels like a cross between stone and metal but you could look it up
@@damienx0xno, he’s a qualified chef. He left high school at 16 and went to culinary school (Westminster Catering College). He qualified and then worked in many restaurants in London, including River Cafe, which is where he got picked up by the BBC to start the Naked Chef. Do your homework before making sweeping, inaccurate statements!
1) Cut the Aubergines into chunks. They steam easier and are more easy to eat. Thats also not enough water because the Onions were sticking at the bottom. 1.5) Steam the Aubergines in a seperate pot and put the onions and Garlic in your pan with some Olive Oil. Not sure what Jamies obsession is with one pot cooking. Does he only have one pan left cause he scraped them all with his Spoons? 2) STOP ABUSING YOUR PAN WITH METAL SPOONS. 3) Why Cheddar? You have Parmidgano Reggiano. If you want a complimentary Cheese, Mozarella is right there. 4) No Salt? 5) Just because you throw some Lasagna plates in there does not make it a Lasagne. If you used, say, Penne or Fussili, it would be much easier to eat and less of Italy would want to murder you.
Pasta bake, not lasagna. Still sounds tasty though. And if you're 1 of the people who can't use fresh pasta, make it earlier in the day using broken dry sheets and let the liquid soften them, if you can.

Thank you❤❤❤❤❤!!! Amazing version!❤❤❤❤
You know.. I come from Sicily (land of aubergines) and I can truly say that this is a gorgeous alternative lasagna. Well done mate as always ❤❤❤
Italians don't own food, read that again.
I made this when it first came out and can testify that this was incredible.
I just made this, and it was delicious. The crispy sage 100% makes this dish taste so unique and flavorful!
Even a"sort of" lasagna is super with Jamie. Love him
I’m tired of my meal prep, you know what, I’ll try it! Thank you Jamie.. it’s not an intimidating recipe yet looks delish
All that sage! I would have to use a sweeter herb like basil or parsley because excessive sage tastes like disinfectant.

Wow 😮 I thought "man he's talking bull" but I rewatched the part.. don't know why he'd do that and what to make of this...
Oh my god, how sad must your lives be inspecting how dirty a oven dish is or isn't 😂.
What en excellent idea! Looks incredibly scrumptious! Thank you, Jamie!
Just tried this recipe out tonight and it’s delicious! The almonds were a nice touch bringing out some great flavors!

If I get a dog I will call him scruffy.
If I get a French Poodle I'll call her Aubergine.
I call it decortique (F) or lazy lasagna. 🤗
❤❤❤super!
Salt?
Cheese!
Why do so many "chefs" use metal utensils on non-stick surfaces!?!?!?
Dude, there are new&better technologies of COOKING surfaces theref they csn. RELAX.

Making lasagne does cause pain lolol
You mail it as always
I just love aubergines 🍆 I’m going to definitely try this thank you 😊
❤❤❤❤❤
I have never washed my homegrown sage. Am I missing something?
I live in s very dusty town with air pollutants, so I wash everything also.
Pretty sure it lacks salt and pepper. The cheese alone won't make be sufficient
Do you have to use almonds?,I am highly allergic.
Yes, you have to. So get your EpiPen ready.
Non, c'est optionnel, pour donner du croustillant. Vous pouvez utiliser des pignons de pin, des noisettes ou rien ;)
@@budaiadm🤭
Pine nuts would be nice. Expensive though…
WHO HAS SAGE TO HAND LIKE THAT, UNLESS YOU GROW YR OWN WHICH NOT EVERYBODY DOES OR CAN.
L👁️👁️ks very savory indeed!
You don’t need two cans of water, it dilutes flavour
Curry leaves, mango chutney, coconut milk and saffron !!! No Thankyou. 🤮
He put a dirty pain in the oven, but it was clean on the outside when he took it out.
Hahaa I have noticed that too 😂
💐💐💐
❤ 🤝
Now all you have to do is drop the dairy and it will be 💯!!
For me, the dairy is essential 👌
😋😋
Put some dog hairs and bits of grit in to make it extra scruffy
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤❤❤👏👏👏
Just because lasagna sheets is the in the pot, it doesn’t mean we can call the meal lasagna
Jamie, io ti voglio bene. Ma questo semplicemente no.
I whole 3 grams of protein per portion...
So it's moussaka....
This is jamie oil Haiyaa
This is not lasagne.
Jamie isn't a chef, so...
cry
