My jaw dropped when Asher stepped forward. Not only did he seem like the kind of guy who’d self-identify as a meat eater (and call himself an alpha), but also he’s the only mole who I’ve ever seen take the role of leader of the investigating, the people who from the beginning ask all the questions, voice their opinions the most, etc.
He was inherently obvious the first second he opened his mouth. I'm honestly concerned in everyones ability to spot when someone is manipulating. I know this is just a game and no shade, I'm just confused on how anyone believed him?

Aw I’m so happy for Asher! He really did fool me! I actually agree with everything he said about why he is a vegan. I’ve been a vegan/vegetarian for years, but I started to slip up and eat chicken on rare occasions recently (especially when I feel pressured to by my family). This video reminded me that I shouldn’t let people pressure me into eating meat if I really don’t want to eat meat. I always feel better when I don’t eat meat because I always end up feeling a little guilty for eating a living creature, or contributing to the poor unethical treatment of animals. And there are so many vegan/vegetarian/plant based foods I really don’t need to be eating chicken or eggs or cheese on my pizza. It’s really that I let some people in my life basically shame me for my choices which kind of hurts because I didn’t realize that’s what they’re doing, but I honestly shouldn’t feel like I have to eat what they eat just to feel accepted by them. :( I don’t care if other people eat it, but I don’t want them to care that I don’t want to, and I just know that I feel happier and healthier when I avoid it. I wish I had more friends who felt the same way I do about it so I wouldn’t feel so alone in it though.
I think [this] is easier than the 1 meat eater vs 6 vegans because most people start off with meat, so they would have sufficient food experiences to make it seem they continue it to this day. Interested to see what happens!

Same (well not vegan anymore due to some issues when I was pregnant). Everyone was so respectful here, no one bashed each other for their diets. The vegan they got is respresentative of every real-life vegan I've ever known. Loved it so much!
This is my favorite episode by far because everyone was so nice. The people were so funny and very accepting of other people’s choices and life. And you had no idea it was him.
This Odd one out really made me realize at the end how quick people are to jump onto others based on their reactions when the lights are red. Jumped right to Maui based off his reaction to them assuming it’s him meanwhile Asher had a poker face the whole time, which is definitely the way to play to win 👍🏽 Loved the video

Now that they are speaking out more loudly the world is slowly changing. Conflicts usually don't end by asking politely. My ancestors didn't escape slavery by asking politely. Victims of the nazis didn't escape by asking politely. Women didn't get equal rights by asking politely. All these essential causes went out there and made their voices heard. That is why we protest and advocate for animals, they do not have a voice. The issue meat eaters have is that they look at this as a food issue when it's not. This isn't about us trying to hype up some trendy diet. It's about the BILLIONS of animals that get tortured, mistreated and killed every year and you not taking accountability for it. Meat eaters love to cry about slaughterhouse footage, about the videos of a mother cow screaming for her child that is ripped away from her so that humans can drinks the milk meant for her child. They cry about baby chicks being shredded alive because they are male and hence have no value to farmers and they cry about the pigs that are in such distress about being cramped into such tight spaces where they can barely move, that they cannibalize on other pigs. They will cry about all of that and then still go to the store and buy the very thing they were just crying about. The hypocrisy is immense. I see meat eaters at climate protests, demanding change, when the animal product industry is one of the leading causes of today's rapid climate change. So no, I'm not sorry about not being chill. I'm angry that people are actively supporting one of the cruelest and most harmful industry to our planet when they could so so easily just not. Are a few seconds of pleasure really worth all this pain and distruction?

It’s really that I let some people in my life basically shame me for my choices which kind of hurts because I didn’t realize that’s what they’re doing, but I honestly shouldn’t feel like I have to eat what they eat just to feel accepted by them. :( I don’t care if other people eat it, but I don’t want them to care that I don’t want to, and I just know that I feel happier and healthier when I avoid it. I wish I had more friends who felt the same way I do about it so I wouldn’t feel so alone in it though.
I think [this] is easier than the 1 meat eater vs 6 vegans because most people start off with meat, so they would have sufficient food experiences to make it seem they continue it to this day. Interested to see what happens!

@@compashinpei they meant that it’s easier to lie if it’s 6 meat eaters vs 1 vegan because the vegan originally ate meat (most likely) so they have past experiences that they can use to lie with while with 1 meat eater vs 6 vegans, usually meat eaters don’t have the experience of being vegan (ofc some probably have then reverted back but you get the idea) therefore they cannot lie as easily
Pretending to be a vegan would be WAY harder. Not only is veganism a subculture at this point, but I feel like after a while, you'd get annoyed be surrounded by that many vegans, let's be real 😂

I think they have tremendous will power and are reducing the amount of meat consumption in this world which needs to be appreciated. But instead they are being ridiculed most of the time if they come up with vegan steak burger or any other food resembling meat. I know it’s hard to avoid it completely they miss the taste sometimes and they try to replicate non vegan food they miss the most. What’s wrong with that ?

As a vegan, I enjoyed this episode.
Same (well not vegan anymore due to some issues when I was pregnant). Everyone was so respectful here, no one bashed each other for their diets. The vegan they got is respresentative of every real-life vegan I've ever known. Loved it so much!

This is my favorite episode by far because everyone was so nice. The people were so funny and very accepting of other people’s choices and life. And you had no idea it was him.
This Odd one out really made me realize at the end how quick people are to jump onto others based on their reactions when the lights are red. Jumped right to Maui based off his reaction to them assuming it’s him meanwhile Asher had a poker face the whole time, which is definitely the way to play to win 👍🏽 Loved the video

Now that they are speaking out more loudly the world is slowly changing. Conflicts usually don't end by asking politely. My ancestors didn't escape slavery by asking politely. Victims of the nazis didn't escape by asking politely. Women didn't get equal rights by asking politely. All these essential causes went out there and made their voices heard. That is why we protest and advocate for animals, they do not have a voice. The issue meat eaters have is that they look at this as a food issue when it's not. This isn't about us trying to hype up some trendy diet. It's about the BILLIONS of animals that get tortured, mistreated and killed every year and you not taking accountability for it. Meat eaters love to cry about slaughterhouse footage, about the videos of a mother cow screaming for her child that is ripped away from her so that humans can drinks the milk meant for her child. They cry about baby chicks being shredded alive because they are male and hence have no value to farmers and they cry about the pigs that are in such distress about being cramped into such tight spaces where they can barely move, that they cannibalize on other pigs. They will cry about all of that and then still go to the store and buy the very thing they were just crying about. The hypocrisy is immense. I see meat eaters at climate protests, demanding change, when the animal product industry is one of the leading causes of today's rapid climate change.
So no, I'm not sorry about not being chill. I'm angry that people are actively supporting one of the cruelest and most harmful industry to our planet when they could so so easily just not. Are a few seconds of pleasure really worth all this pain and distruction?
