I knew this video was coming!! Say what you want about Alfa, but the Giulia and the Stelvio, especially in QV version are masterpieces. The Giorgio platform keeps giving almost 10 years later! So sad that they are abandoning it for the next gen....
I love mine from 2019. It eats WRX for breakfast, Scat Packs for lunch, and M4's for dinner. It's basically just a really big GT-R. I was very sad to hear that April 2024 will be the last time Americans can order the quadrifolgio models. It never got its due following here like it should.
I have a 2020 Giulia (not Quadrifoglio unfortunately) and it's hands down the best car I've ever driven. The steering feel and nimbleness of the car is almost like a go kart on rails - insanely sharp and precise steering that you'll only understand if you drive one. I get about 20-25mpg which is insanely good for the the stop-and-go nightmare traffic here in NYC. I'll be going 80mph on the highway and it feels like 50. The leather sport seats hug you and are super comfortable. Still under factory warranty and the extended warranty is about $1500 for an ADDITIONAL 60,000 miles after the factory warranty expires. Not a single check engine light or issue since owning the vehicle. Only people that never drove an Alfa complain about the reliability (and it's because of a Car & Driver article from 2017 regarding the Giulia Quadrifoglio that was new at the time and had some electrical issues that were all fixed in later years). You can pick one up used with less than 40k miles for about $20k-$25k. They're steals.
The parts sharing happened around 5-6 years ago when Ferrari and Alfa were under the same company, now alfa have Ferrari engineered parts that they can use for the Guilia and Stelvio (only those 2 models)

The head engineer for Giulia also developed the Ferrari 458.
