Hi Matt love the shelf youse made, I’m currently planning a shelf design for my aquariums but about half the size (also with little experience in building them) and wondering what type of wood the planks and panels were, sorry if youse already said it but I couldn’t find anything in previous videos, thanks a lot.
I know they used MDF particle bord for the planks, and just some 2x4 for the planks to sit on. Just some basic pine 2x4 would suffice 😊 hope this helps!

I really love this new style of content, its definitely a step in the right direction for me at least. And also the new couch setup is awesome, the camera angle and coverage looks so inclusive just as if I am also right there on a third couch and involved in the conversation.

Sorry to hear people have said things that you felt you needed to explain yourselves guys, personally I love the fishwall and totally understood why you did it, love watching you too bounce off each other as it's great vibes, love seeing the studio development and yes I look forward to seeing more scapes but you can keep the fish longer and we can see more of the lovely critters. I don’t know all the circumstances surrounding those Bearded Dragons, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but in most instances, Bearded Dragons should not be housed together. If you ever plan on doing it, please research the heck out of it. If done wrong you could come home to one (or both) of the Dragons torn apart!

Unfortunately people like to tell others what doesn't work or what you shouldn't do in every hobby. I promise a planted tank with Mbuna is possible because I've done it. It's more work and yes the occasional plant was dug up but I had it running for about a year.
Listen, at this point we need to get rid of the 3 studios and go ahead and get a fish WAREHOUSE!

Nice talky vid! Ooooh, I love african dwarf frogs! They are such derpy frogs 😂, I have one (had 2, but unfortunately 98% of my tank died in flat fire and I’ve been able to rescue just one) and they sing in the evenings. I just love you guys! I don't keep fish but used too. I found MD first and through him fish shop Matt. Both are very entertaining any relatable. Not sure why, I live in Austin Texas. I've tried to watch other fish tank scaping video channels and just dont get the same vib. Keep doing what your doing ,it definitely does for me!

I will miss the trips to Maidenhead Aquatics. But the channel must evolve. Nevertheless i hope we will still make a trip or two to the Matt's fish store every now and again.

Why not extend the tubes out on the spongefilter so the 90 is halfway out of the water. It will help with the bubbling noise and splattering of water.
Please consider attaching the greenery behind the tanks higher on the wall.

You ever play around with having plants like pothos grow their Roots down into the water? They will definitely kick ass if you do that. And also take out nitrates. Not sure if I've ever seen you use non aquatic plants I must have watched 50 of your videos by now LOL keep on rockin, you guys are great.

I have fish and a beardie. I tried making a bio active enclosure for my lizard, but he would rip up and eat the plants too much. Now he’s in a plant less enclosure 😢
I’ve seen someone keep about a dozen male Bettas in with the same # of females and assorted other dither fish in the same tank. Apparently as long as the tank is a decent size with visual barriers (wood, plants, rocks, etc) the Bettas display a bit but keeping them together isn’t a problem.
When's the podcast starting up guys? You know you gotta do it. The way you guys went off on the couch. You can pull in an hour of content just talking over things like that. I'd listen.
