Does armament Haki increase the user’s strength like nen ?? I ask because on Reddit one fan likened it to brass knuckles that boost the attack/destructive power rather than increase strength , is that true or does it increase strength??
if I've got it correct armament Haki doesn't increase physical strength, no. Comparing it to brass knuckles would be more accurate. If you put on brass knuckles, you dont see an increase in your physical strength, rather just an increase in the damage when punching. That's basically what armament is.
@@Lucas_L0676 I’m even more confused if that’s the case then where does all the superhuman feats come from like with Zoro and Garp or even Roger ?? Plus how can the user imbue Haki into weapons and make them stronger but not the users body itself??
The user's imbuement onto weapons works like it does with the body. For example, a sword will have an increase in dura/AP. Think of it like this, its called a "coating", basically meaning its something that goes on the outside of the body. Coatings, such as things like real life armour do not change the strength or dura of a person physically, in the same way, armament doesn't change the strength or dura of the actual body. The same logics applied to a sword or anything they imbue with armament. The sword itself doesn't change with armament, think of it as a coat outside the sword that as a result increases its stats. When it comes to the superhuman feats, characters like garp and zoro are superhuman as it is. Usually the massive feats of haki by these characters are a result of emission, and just the general buffs of hardening and strength of their overall haki as they attack. hopefully im not explaining this poorly but i hope it helps you out!
@Lucas_L0676 Wouldn't emission be the first stage of advanced armament? Like with swords. It is stated by Hyogoro that the users have to flow their will into the blade.
