Durga Puja is an emotion of Bengali riligion, an emotion of Bengal since thousands of years. However now it's getting celebrated in other states by Bengali residentials but somewhere the emotion and the life of us is missing in outside of Bengal. Hindi language peoples celebrates Navratri but our Puja worship and celebration is completely different, which people can not feel until and unless they stay in Kolkata during Mahalaya to Bijaya Dashami. Bengali worship Maa durga and welcome her as their daughter, who coming from in-laws house once in a Year. And the most tragic which you can feel and see, on the day of Bijaya Dashami when Durga leaves her parental house, this is the day of our tears.
I'm a bengali by blood, staying in Delhi and might be due to that literally didn't had any idea about the proceedings or significance of mighty Durga puja festival. Really grateful to the makers of this documentary for enlightening me and honestly saying awakening my "baangali mood" who is now eager to celebrate the শারদীয়া 2024. Really appreciate that👏👏😇😇

Mai bengali nahi hu but mujhe durga puja kabhi live nahi dekhi durga maa kripa kare kabhi puja mai samil hone ka maine ghar mai he durga maa banake first day se he virjit kar diya mujhe nahi pata tha 5 day se hoti hai hai or na mujhe bengali rituals pata isliye mai Sirf dhunchi aarti he kar pati hu 🥰🥰❤❤🎉🎉

There is no term called as prabhat feri in DurgaPuja. The plastic is everywhere from i card badge till water glasses. There is no pran pratishtha on Shashti in DurgaPuja. Mool bhog should not be broadcasted, its prohibited till offering Aarti Its incorrect to say that Sandhi puja will take place in evening on MahaAshtami Its incorrect to say that after Sandhi puja, the mahaashtami puja happens. The most hilarious thing is instead of showing puja, its just focused on Pushpanjali, dhunuchi, and Aarti only on all five days. Nice arrangements nice voice over nice marketing but, where is Puja? Emotion food connectivity naach but it's all around revolves around Puja which is missing
The title should not be history of Durga puja......it could be "durga puja the greatest festival for bengalis" bcz it lacks information regarding puja moreover it glorify the enjoyment people having over there
Because it is about the celebration. It is not a religious film. Understand the perspective. Why puja is celebrated can be read or watched in religious movies. Its about how it is celebrated.
