I’ll echo other comments: future parts pending? Hopefully? If so: Pending narration only? Or also yet to be written? I’m sure I’d be but one of many who’d be in for the long haul on a novel length feature based on what we’ve heard so far. Thanks for the great content & continuing to help fill some of the vacuum that is ‘quality sci-fi narration/new sci-fi material’ on TH-cam.
Good story. Not sure if you are trying to sound like a condescending sarcastic effeminate man pretending to be a real man or if that's actually the case. Your voice is good and would be great for a RuPaul type channel or character. You really are doing a good job with the narration. I just get the feeling that this is a practical joke on the " manly" listeners. If so then you absolutely nailed it! Edit: scratch that, i really need to listen fully before commenting. Started out good, has a great premise, but it just went down hill from there. I don't think i have ever hated the main character of a story so much in my life! The writing is ass backwards, you start out understanding what is going on and by 3/4 of the way through it feels like I'm listening to an Alzheimer's patient. Good try, you can only get better from here.
If you view it as a stand-alone, one and done story - then yeah, no character development and not really any time for it. If it is the start of a series/the intro to a long story - then we are too early into the story to have much more than basic introductions to the main characters. You know, just like how the first couple episodes of a new TV series will usually feel weird and often can even seem kinda stupid - because they are trying to cram so much in to introduce a bunch of characters, introduce the setting & premise of the story, and somehow also entertain enough at the same time… it becomes campy and stupid. A few episodes later, you fall in love and the episodes aren’t stupid - the groundwork for the setting/theme/main characters has been established enough that each new episode can focus on telling the story/entertaining rather than trying to explain itself to you. And then - after you finish the series, if you go back and re-watch those first couple episodes you may find yourself saying ‘god, these first few were awful - it’s crazy how much better the show got, I’m glad I gave it a chance… I’m even surprised I didn’t give up after the first couple episodes being this stupid.’ Hopefully that ramble made sense. Take care.
Definitely needs more episodes. Great story to start a series.
Great production on this one. Thanks to the team for their hard work.
Cool. Flesh it out more and slow it down it could be a good book. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Awesome story! Please write more!🙏🏼🙏🏼
