Made these for the first time a couple weeks ago and they were a hit with my friends and husband. I decided to make my danish’s smaller and make more of them. The dough was interesting but I am considering subbing some coconut flour for some of the almond flour next time I make them. Also for me, the filling had too much lemon flavor, so I’ll be reducing the amount of lemon juice I use next time as well. Thanks SO much for this recipe and many others Mayra! 🙌🏻❤️👏🏻

    • @mfenderson2714

I would probably guess lemon juice. Lime juice is not used very often is more main stream U.S./American recipes and chain restaurants like Starbucks aside from something that has lime in the name. Lime is use more in the Americas meaning Latin America but not USA. But lemon juice/zest is used often in US as a balancing ingredient or as a star ingredient.
