Juice was a different breed. A lot of people like to point towards his drug use when it comes to his talent, but a lot of people don't know what they're talking about I use to be addicted to opiates. They can boost creativity, but can just as easily kill it along with your ability to think clearly and quickly. It wasn't solely because of his drug use that he could freestyle so well, Eminem himself explained that juice simply mastered the art of freestyling. He memerized a bunch of lines and when he ran out of things to say, he would pull out one of his ol reliable bars. This allowed him to rap well despite being high out his mind. I'm sure the drugs helped sometimes too, but they certainly made things more difficult a lot of the time as well And people go off of his released and think all he made was sad corny shi, but they simply don't do their research. It's so funny to me that people are so comfortable looking so stupid that theyll shi talk a beloved dead guy instead of do their research Sorry for the rant, i saw a few people talking shi about him in the comments and it annoyed me lmao
❤❤❤ I've only really started listening to his music (I'm a millennial and prefer old school rap) but he is extremely talented and seemed like such a genuinely amazing individual 😢 It's incredibly sad what happened to him and unfortunately we lost a very talented artist! I definitely agree with what you said and he was just remarkable! Rest in peace Juice ❤
Hope you’re still at it! Got sober around the same time. It’s been tough lately, but I have a good support system of people I can talk to about these things
Addiction is for real its no joke i am thankful i got clean going on 4 months clean prayers 🙏🙏 for the ones still struggling its not easy i give thanks to GOD
No one WANTS to be addicted to something... people just ARE.. it's kinda like it's a mental illness or something 🤷♀️ ... some people don't get it and others do get it. I hope you never have to face this devil because it's absolute hell and very misunderstood
@@KayleeArmyfor some it's even a physical illness that drives them to become addicted. I am fully dependent on my prescribed medication, and without it I become sick and unable to function at all very very fast. even with mine being prescribed, it is absolutely hell being stuck dependent on a pill. being stuck having to wait for your medications to kick in before you can actually get up and start your day. the pain resurgence when you forget and don't take them at the exact time you're supposed to. it's awful.
this is the new generation of rappers, back in the 80, rock n roll and heavy metal artist were more known for their drug use like coke and herion etc, rappers mostly expressed blunts and forty ounces until like the mid late 90s ecstacy and pills were more expressed
I have 3 years sober on 2.15.25... I'm thankful to have survived. The life I'm living now I could have never imagined for myself. RIP to those who didn't make it. I hope the people still struggling find the right path and get their lives back. Great video
you can really tell a true addict from someone putting on the front of a drug user by how the music industry and the fame from it impacts them. the music industry + an addict = a dead star, it's money they have no right handling, a fanbase cheering on their mental and physical decline from use, and then a pity party from those same people after the behavior they cheered on inevitably lead to death.
right?? how the fuck can a crowd of ppl just stand around and watch that, even cheer for it like it’s something to celebrate. if i was at a concert and i saw that happening on stage id be shocked and concerned for the artist. i would want them to stop the show and get them some help. it’s sad how everyone around these addicts just enable them to get worse.
All these kids dropping is due to their body giving out finally. Most times they’re doing multiple substances; usually UP and DOWN. Then you got alcohol too. It’s very nasty existence, even if you’re functioning with work etc.
Quite literally juices body gave out like no joke. And all these kids now think its so fun to do drugs and alla that shit. Just listen to some of the rappers who were heavy drug users. Some ain even here no more.
I was clean of codeine almost 330 days but relapsed. Now i am trying to take it more easy and not pressure a withdrawal. I pray for yall to stay safe! Don’t do drugs, prayer has the same effect! God loves you! Amen!
I'm still so proud of you. if no one has told you this, I want you to know you still did something a lot didn't have the chance to. please take it easy, know your limits, please make sure you're getting real stuff and please get some fent test strips just for when you aren't certain. you deserve to keep your life, you deserve to be able to make sure your stuff is clean. you can get them online, or a lot of churches will have programs that provide them for free, or methadone clinics around you and I'm sure a lot of other places. you can always say you're getting them for a family member you're concerned for if you're embarrassed, but pleaseeee Hun. you deserve to be safe. I wish you the best
It's normal and a part of recovery to slip back into old ways. You're gonna get there again. 330 days is a LONG time, so you know damn well that you're gonna get off it again and be sober again. Keep pushing, never let setbacks define you ! ❤
That's a great effort and you can always get back on the wagon. The most important thing is to always try again no matter how many times you fall, just get up and try again, and again and again, and eventually it will stick. The worst thing you can do is let it defeat you and just give up trying to resist. Also suboxone might be helpful, its helped keep me clean off opioids for 5 years now.
really good video, me seeing this as someone who has worked with drug addicts for 3 months can confirm how bad these drugs are, they are horrible and life destroying
You should definitely check out Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx. There are a few books, one about the whole band called The Dirt and also Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx. Absolutely insane what that man went through but seeing him now, he is incredibly healthy, doing so amazing and has been sober for possibly 20 or more years off everything. He also died twice from an overdose, Heroin Diaries is an extremely hard book to read but it's so incredibly inspiring to see how far Nikki has come in life ❤❤❤ I highly recommend reading both Motley Crue's The Dirt and Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx!
Oh and also Steve-O from Jackass! He has been sober for years and is doing amazing! It's not just the drugs but the amount of pain he put his body through, it's incredible he is still alive. He has messed up his vocal cords but yeah he is another one who is truly an inspiration!

Firstly, why are rappers getting full sets of gold or platinum teeth? Trippy almost cant talk properly, and secondly rappers mostly think God can replace a physical addiction or even cravings otherwise rehab would just be a church. Great upload again Rishav.
I used to sing, and Percs was a must for me. I can't even believe how many Percs these guys do when they make it . I used to take 10 to 20 Percs. The detox was UNBEARABLE!. I'm still an addict but not like in those day's.
There was a large quantity of codeine in his system, which not only can cause respiratory depression, but if abused heavily enough, it can also cause seizures. If he was truly in benzo withdrawal, then the codeine would've most likely treated his withdrawals of benzos enough to stop him from seizing from withdrawal, as many benzos are on- par with codeine' potency. I guess what I'm trying to say is, this couldn't really have been a true withdrawal seizure, since he had a powerful enough medicine to have treated such things, in his blood But he STILL seized.......... he really had to be abusing the shits to NO END
@@serotoninsyndromeDXM was fire. Really one of best dissociatives with MXE and Ketamine but potency was not so good. And side effects very really not worth it after while. I don’t use anymore tho.

I’m pretty deep into addy abuse. I wouldn’t say it’s an addiction cause I go weeks sometimes months without it but the second I get my script I usually over indulge and run out before half of the suggested 30 day time period. It makes me numb to life and right now it’s a big reason I’m able to just grind thru work. I kinda have nothing left to look forward to but it helps me keep going

@@metaliris6404Truth. I’ll be sober from alcohol for four years on January 1st. Sadly, I can’t say the same about my prescription medication. I was put on the stuff because my spine is crooked, I have two slipped discs, my pelvis and back are full of arthritis, and it’s getting harder for me to walk. The pain never goes away, the pills only mask it for a little while, and my tolerance is very high at this point. I don’t know if I’d rather get off of them and feel excruciating pain 24/7, or keep taking them.

Im honestly really suprised that everyone doesnt do drugs in the music industry, especially hiphop/rap. Just having the funds to support such habits readily always available makes things all the more tempting. Not to mention being in a constant spot light adds alot of stress wnd anxiety.

Yo! Saying Danny brown carelessly promotes the usage of MDMA is wild. I don’t think there’s any rapper who makes drug usage seem worse. The first song off the tape that got him famous’ message is, “Hey I really need this to work out because I’m a bit too old and I’ve fucked up in life otherwise, and I’m doing way too many drugs to cope with that plus the anxiety that I already have from having a fucked up life in Detroit.” Like Downward Spiral in of itself is far better drug outreach than the DARE program lol
I was around for the culture wars of 2015-2016 and it’s WILD that people know Milo as Kanye’s former chief of staff instead of the “all feminists are ugly” and “I’m glad they put a hot black dude in Ghost Busters” guy.
bro you censored codeine so it sounds like "heroine", i mean it gets clearer later on but some people gon skip out in the first minute with a very wrong image of lil wayne.
Seizures are because of withdrawal. If you are more prone to them, that is why he was suffering, combined with drinking lean. Depleted gaba receptors 😮.
This video was well made, and really entertaining. I don’t put this on the creators one bit, but I’m at my limit and it’s gotta be said. All this over-censoring must stop! It’s distracting and condescending. Bleeping “death”? Slippery AF.
You can tell that you have absolutely no experience with or knowledge about drugs. Which, in itself, is a good thing. But in that case, you should either inform yourself better or avoid making a 1.5-hour video analyzing other people’s drug use.

1:08:45 bro just started censoring every word he said to the point where he audibly disappeared completely😂
ryan garcia this ye im on the nitrous
4 years sober from benzos and adderall. Life is good. RIP to DMX, Mac Miller, Pimp C and everyone else gone too soon.
bro "falling asleep" and nodding out are two completely different things
Juice was a different breed. A lot of people like to point towards his drug use when it comes to his talent, but a lot of people don't know what they're talking about
I use to be addicted to opiates. I'm sure the drugs helped sometimes too, but they certainly made things more difficult a lot of the time as well
And people go off of his released and think all he made was sad corny shi, but they simply don't do their research. It's so funny to me that people are so comfortable looking so stupid that theyll shi talk a beloved dead guy instead of do their research
Sorry for the rant, i saw a few people talking shi about him in the comments and it annoyed me lmao
9 9 9 ❤
So yeah, you were there
and if juice was still alive today i think he’d be 10x bigger than all these guys favourite artists. dude had like 3000 songs in 2 and a half years
❤❤❤ I've only really started listening to his music (I'm a millennial and prefer old school rap) but he is extremely talented and seemed like such a genuinely amazing individual 😢 It's incredibly sad what happened to him and unfortunately we lost a very talented artist! I definitely agree with what you said and he was just remarkable! Rest in peace Juice ❤
@@J73987omg that's actually incredible! What an absolute machine he was 😢❤
A little over 30 days sober now,the cycle of suffering is real.It ends now
Keep it up, you got this!!!
Stay sober bro! You got this
Hope you’re still at it! Got sober around the same time. It’s been tough lately, but I have a good support system of people I can talk to about these things
@@willwelsh3622How is it going?
Are you still going?
Whats crazy is that people say future didn't even really do drugs like that
Almost all of them mention something along the lines of, ‘I wouldn’t wish this/that on my worst enemy’ and as an ex-addict I wholeheartedly agree 😢❤
It's interesting bc they say that but then glorify it in their music. Lyrics are spells, especially over a hypnotic beat.
Addiction is for real its no joke i am thankful i got clean going on 4 months clean prayers 🙏🙏 for the ones still struggling its not easy i give thanks to GOD

I always stayed far away from drugs. I never wanted to be addicted to something that could potentially take my life away.
Keep it that way trust
No one WANTS to be addicted to something... people just ARE.. it's kinda like it's a mental illness or something 🤷♀️ ... some people don't get it and others do get it. I hope you never have to face this devil because it's absolute hell and very misunderstood
@@KayleeArmyOng as a kid I never understood. I just though people couldn’t stop cause it was fun but it’s more cause of self medication
@@KayleeArmyfor some it's even a physical illness that drives them to become addicted. I am fully dependent on my prescribed medication, and without it I become sick and unable to function at all very very fast. even with mine being prescribed, it is absolutely hell being stuck dependent on a pill. being stuck having to wait for your medications to kick in before you can actually get up and start your day. the pain resurgence when you forget and don't take them at the exact time you're supposed to. it's awful.
What do you take if you dont mind me asking?@@FluffyMarsu
"It wasn't an overdose; it was determined that instead he just had too many drugs in his system"...
Overdose
this is the new generation of rappers, back in the 80, rock n roll and heavy metal artist were more known for their drug use like coke and herion etc, rappers mostly expressed blunts and forty ounces until like the mid late 90s ecstacy and pills were more expressed
I have 3 years sober on 2.15.25... I'm thankful to have survived. The life I'm living now I could have never imagined for myself. RIP to those who didn't make it. I hope the people still struggling find the right path and get their lives back. Great video
36:14 Peep vomits in a plastic trash can
*screaming intensifies*
Words dont even begin to describe how sad that is to watch.
you can really tell a true addict from someone putting on the front of a drug user by how the music industry and the fame from it impacts them. the music industry + an addict = a dead star, it's money they have no right handling, a fanbase cheering on their mental and physical decline from use, and then a pity party from those same people after the behavior they cheered on inevitably lead to death.
right?? how the fuck can a crowd of ppl just stand around and watch that, even cheer for it like it’s something to celebrate. if i was at a concert and i saw that happening on stage id be shocked and concerned for the artist. i would want them to stop the show and get them some help. it’s sad how everyone around these addicts just enable them to get worse.
My whole family has a history of substance abuse. I do too. Seeing the Kanye nitrous shi made me quit because it was limiting my creativity
Even given your relapse 330 days is a hell of a result! All we can do is try again… I can’t make it past the 5 day mark, yet.
I see you bout to reach 100k subs before the year ends 🔥🔥
really good video, me seeing this as someone who has worked with drug addicts for 3 months can confirm how bad these drugs are, they are horrible and life destroying
The fact this is a hour long vid shows that we as fans, artist, or even the generation of both need to do better
0:57 there you go perfect shot. good amount of depth in the background too. great job
video went by quick for me, great stuff man
Thank you for the bonus at the end. Very insightful.
yeah it’s pretty surprising lil wayne is still living despite the drugs
He also shot himself when he was a kid. He’s been crossing out the Grim Reaper like he’s Allen Iverson.
He has messed up his vocal cords but yeah he is another one who is truly an inspiration!

absolutely great video
Lil Wayne probably had seizures due to a lack of benzodiazpines.
Correct
It is one of the only drugs that withdrawal symptoms can kill you !!!

11 months no hard drugs,
30 years clean from Adderall 😊
I’m pretty deep into addy abuse. I wouldn’t say it’s an addiction cause I go weeks sometimes months without it but the second I get my script I usually over indulge and run out before half of the suggested 30 day time period. It makes me numb to life and right now it’s a big reason I’m able to just grind thru work. I kinda have nothing left to look forward to but it helps me keep going
